Like other massively multiplayer online games, a live development team will continue to work on The Saga of Ryzom after launch to implement regular patch updates to game, adding improvements such as missions and events. Additional updates will contain playable races, lands, creatures, skills, actions, which will allow characters to progress further into the saga.
