Rogue Ops

Strengths: Good stealth action; Communicator support

Weakness: Mechanics are so so

Rogue Ops is another military sealth action game just like Metal Gear and Splinter Cell. While not as good as either of those 2 games, Rogue Ops does have some good moments. The stealth action is up there and really make the game interesting. The mechanics of the game leave something to be desired. You can and will be caught by enemies and cameras when it doesnt even look like you are in their...

average at best

Strengths: decent stealth gameplay

Weakness: a poor man's splinter cell

If you have played Splinter Cell you don't want to get this. It is a poor version that is almost a complete knockoff. Although it does have the "sexy" main character, so if thats important to you, by all means. Not a particularly bad game, but it doesn't do anything different or interesting to set it apart. It is very generic throughout and does not have the polish of a splinter cell game. A few...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Nice set of gadgets to use, more accessible than Splinter Cell series, stealth kills are fun

Weakness: Lack of replay value (typical of most stealth based games), not as polished as Splinter Cell series, occassionally vague objectives

This is a pretty standard stealth game. By nature of stealth, the game can sometimes be unforgiving (getting caught and having to restart the mission). Then again, the artificial intelligence in the game isn't very good. If you don't move into a guard's sector, he will not become active, although he appears in sight. The gadgets in the game are fun to use, the character is pretty cool (although...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Nice stealth title. Some mechanics well thought out.

Weakness: Some mechanics not well thought out.

Rogue Ops is kinda a mixed bag. It's a stealth game like Metal Gear and Splinter Cell. It adds some unique additions to the genre. It includes the usual gadgets including some that haven't beenseen in previous stealth games. You can also make use of the Xbox headset to issue commands to change equipment and such. Also, kills aren't easy since you almost have to do control moves like a fighter to...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Unique gameplay additions and price.

Weakness: Graphics, sound, and its just Metal Gear Solid/Splinter Cell downsized.

Rogue Ops is a stealth action game for XBOX. You play as Nikki Conners through multiple stages using her stealth skills and gadgets to overcome any challenge. Everything about this game is average, but every now and then it surprises you. For example: The voice item selection system. This allows you to pick any of the items you have on hand using the XBOX communicator. No more cycling through...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Its fun, but ripped off.

Weakness: Controls

There are a few original ideas in this game. It's a rip off of Splinter Cell, pretty much, but it provides me with some aspects I hate and some I like. The control isn't great but its better then that of the Resident Evil games and that makes it average in my books. It gives you a bit of everything and I find nothing wrong with that, this game is actually pretty tough the puzzles will have you...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Stealth tactics will be used to get though levels

Weakness: bad framerate, not much replay after you finish the game

Rogue Ops is a tactical game very much like Metal Gear Solid or Splinter Cell and while it doesn't outdo either of those it is a pretty good game for someone looking for a stealth game. You play as Nikki Conners who is an ex-Green Beret that has recently had her husband and daughter murdered and is following members of a terrorist organization named Omega 19 that she believes had to do with the...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Pure stealth gameplay straight from Sam Fisher's playbook, attractive female lead, plenty of useful spy gadgets, challenging gameplay, budget price point

Weakness: Cartoon-like graphics, generic storyline, mediocre voice acting, trial and error gameplay, unappreciated by most consumers, no unlockables, low replay value

Rogue Ops came out several years after Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and does a by-the-book copy of its gameplay mechanics. As a master of stealth and espionage, you'll infiltrate enemy compounds, dispose of enemy targets, retrieve enemy intelligence and rescue prisoners. You'll use a variety of weapons and gadgets to dispose of enemies, pick locks, etc. just like Sam Fisher. Rogue Ops plays exactly...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Decent priced game, good enough stealth action title, main character isn't bad to look act, voice command is a nice touch

Weakness: It's not Splinter Cell, voice acting is a little weak

For fans of the stealth action genre, you probably would like Rogue Ops. The story is passable at best, though the action keeps the game going well enough, but the difficulty can vary by a wide amount. Voice command for switching weapons helps out when you get fumble-fingers, and it's a nice touch. The voice acting leaves a little to be desired, though it's alright. Graphics are OK, and Nikki...

Rogue Ops

Strengths: Good bang for the buck - it's a great deal for anyone that's fond of stealth/shooting games.

Weakness: The voiceovers are stiff and some missions can be frustrating.

If you're a fan of the stealth genre, Rogue Ops might be worth your time. Many years ago, Nikki was recruited by a secret anti-terrorist group of the United States. Because her parents had been killed by terrorists (and because they would kill of if she declined), she chose to hone her skills through this secretive operation. This is where you step in. With a variable difficulty, Rogue Ops is...

Rogue Ops (xbox)

Call this the grey area. We're somewhere between the first generation of stealth adventures and the dearly desired next evolution, and this cold, damp place is like a growing medium for clones. Rogue Ops takes the now-standard characteristics of the stealth genre , adds a few touches of its own, and ushers its hero out the door to fill the time between generations. The Xbox has already seen a...

Rogue Ops (xbox)

A dash of Splinter Cell, a hint of Metal Gear Solid and a sprinkle of Perfect Dark, Kemco's Rogue Ops is a stealth-saturated action game that hopes to grab a chunk of this increasingly popular subgenre away from heavy-hitters like Konami and Ubisoft. This is no easy task, but this Bits Studios developed offering manages to mimic the formula that worked for its predecessors well enough and as a...
