ESPN NFL Football Xbox

Strengths: Great graphics, including first-person perspective, great online play, great audio

Weakness: None apparent

The NFL 2K3 franchise gets an impressive overhaul in ESPN Football 2K4. The first notice in 2K4 is the graphical upgrade. All of the graphics are clean and smooth, with well-done character animations. A nice addition is the "first person" cam, which shows a from-under-the-helmet view, which adds into the realism. The audio, in both the sound effect and the voice acting, are top-notch. The audio...

The

Strengths: Realistic graphics; beautiful player animations; great sound effects; XBox LIVE enabled

Weakness: Stadium music; breaking tackles and running the football is too easy; passing is too difficult

ESPN Football is Sega's attempt at bringing the NFL to the XBox. While this edition has significant improvements over last year's edition (NFL 2K3), there are still some noticeable gameplay issues. For example, there isn't much parity between the run and pass in this game. Running is made way too easy whereas passing is nearly impossible. The QB routinely overthrows wide open receivers, and the...

ESPN NFL Football Xbox

Strengths: Graphics and Gameplay

Weakness: None really

I liked this title. I'm surprised because EA usually doesn't make good stuff. The graphics are really nice, and the gameplay is well done. I don't see any real problems with this game, and I'm picky with football games.

ESPN NFL Football Xbox

Strengths: Updated 2004 players & teams, Smooth realistic graphics, Xbox live support, Fun multiplayer with friends, tons of features, teams stats updates, great sound effects.

Weakness: Very poor contol function, terrible first person view mode, could use more fans interaction, commentary gets old very fast. poor create a player mode.

ESPN NFL Football by SEGA is a Great game for the money when compared to EA games released last year. Through this games has it's up & downs, it still a bargain last year, new release $20. Pros: $20 value game (could be found for $5 now in bargain bins), Super nice graphics ( My dad swear it was actual live football game once! LOL!) many of different modes to play from. Create a player feature is...

ESPN NFL Football

EA Sports' Madden franchise has stood head and shoulders above the competition for the last few years. If you were a pigskin fanatic, you had Madden in your console, it was that simple. Well, with the release of ESPN Football, things have gotten a bit more complicated on the digital gridiron.

ESPN NFL Football

With the NFL Football season in full gear, it’s time for armchair quarterbacks to choose a football game for their home consoles this year. Sega’s NFL 2K series has slowly been inching closer to EA’s Madden franchise as the consensus pick of the season, but Madden has always held a slight edge over 2K series because of solid gameplay and a marketing blitz that only EA could afford. This...

A whole lot has been added to the overall experience--from full ESPN integration, to tightened AI, better graphics, and even more solid online play. The game's entire look is inundated with ESPN branding, which is a good thing. If you squint, you might just think you're watching the Worldwide Leader in Sports.
