Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

Strengths: Beautiful game. Ability to reverse time is neat.

Weakness: Battle controls not that great.

This is a beautiful game that is true to the original. You will be jumping around, avoiding spikes in the ground, etc. I think there's even a hidden version of the original in the game. The game transfers well to the 3D environment, except somethings in the battle scenes the camera is cumbersome and its hard to see where the enemies are. Highly recommended.

Strengths: Great graphics, forgiving gameplay and true to the series

Weakness: Short, gameplay doesn't evolve after first few levels

This a a 3D update to a classic 2D side-scroller that should leave fans of the classic games happy. As the prince, you have amazing moves and acrobatic skills at your disposal, as well as a "dagger" that manipulates time. The graphics are great (although the framerate is a little choppy in places), and the motions of the price are very lifelike. A good game for just about any age.

It is a fantastic game that holds a swiftness that makes it feel like a dance. The movments and battle abitties are all incredibly smooth. Also via camera movements and including most of the dialouge in the actuall gameplay, the lack of cutscenes can be easily overlooked. Action at its finest

Strengths: Unique Prince of Persia gameplay/moves, good graphics, paired with a good story.

Weakness: Unpredictable controls at times

One of the things that makes Prince of Persia stand out from other action games is the gameplay mechanics. Running up walls, dodging, climbing, these are all things that occasionally pop up in other games, but not with the complexity involved in PoP. The story is basic, but keeps you interested. This is the best game of 2003 hands down. You are the prince of persia who has found the dagger of time. Run through the castle by running along walls, wall jumping, climbing ropes and hopping poles. Each room is a puzzle. One of the best games I have ever played. Must own.
