Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Hilarious story and voice acting. Inventive weapons and environments.

Weakness: Shoot-em-all gameplay can wear thin.

Armed and Dangerous isn't exactly the game you expect. When you first see the gameplay, you think it's going to be third person shooter with a lot of unique weapons, and you would be right. If you just saw the cutscenes, you would think it were a wacky platformer, and you would be right. It fills both these rolls and throws in few changes along the way to switch it up. The shooting gallery...

Armed and Dangerous

Strengths: Love the humor

Weakness: Gameplay will get stale before the end

Armed and Dangerous is a hilarious 3rd person shooter that can be best described as a wacky Brute Force. The humor is what sets this game apart and will be what keeps you interested for the entire game. There are no multiplayer modes for some reason though. The gameplay really starts to wear thin by the end and you'll be glad that it's a pretty short title. I love to see a sequel because the...

Armed & Dangerous

Strengths: Great humor, good controls, lots of stuff to shoot and blow up

Weakness: Somewhat short

Armed & Dangerous is a great third-person shooter for the Xbox that stands apart from the pack due to it's off-beat humor. The game controls well if you are familiar with Halo style controls and there are plenty of weapons to keep you busy. You're character can carry three different primary weapons at once along with two special weapons. These range from the standard rifles and machine guns to...

Best thing since Halo.

Strengths: Awesome gameplay. Excellent characters. Incredible art and sound design.

Weakness: Fairly short. No end boss.

Armed and Dangerous is an incredibly fun 3rd person shooter from Lucasarts. The game stars a cast of wacky characters like a dynamite tossing mole and a tea drinking robot. The game features a lot of humor. The cutscenes are suppose to be funny but real the comedy lies in the one-liners the characters say during the game. While the overall theme of the game is funny, the actual gameplay is fast...

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Fun third person shooter, great humor.

Weakness: Saving is a pain.

This game is hilarious! I laughed really hard at some of the scenes, and being a fan of shooter games, I loved all of the options and the action. The Lionhearts are a great, rag-tag group and even though the plotline is familiar (quest format) the dialogue and action move gameplay along nicely. Overall, great dialogue, unique weapons, decent graphics. A good buy!

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: entertaining and imaginative storyline.

Weakness: poor graphics

humorous straight-up shooter with great comedic timing. looking for a relief from all those war game shooters? well this one will definitely allow you to have a good laugh from time to time and not because half the screen is covered in blood(for you with a bit of a darker humor). no regrets in trying it out especially if its on sale. you can find the game for under $15 just about anywhere so...

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Funny storyline and cinemas, downloadable content though Xbox Live

Weakness: could have used online & multiplayer modes, not much of a story for gamers looking for a story driven game

Armed and Dangerous is a third person shooter with a healthy side dish of humor to help make the game a little bit more interesting. You play as Roman who is the leader of a small group of thieves called The Lionhearts. As you play though missions you will be accompanied by Roman's buddies in crime Jonesy, a talking mole, Q1-11 a robot, and Rexus Roman's foster father who is as short as a midget...

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Goofy story; interesting characters; unique weapons; good sound including character voices

Weakness: Single player only; Xbox Live support is content download only

Armed and dangerous is a fun game with a quirky sense of humor throughout. The characters are unique and interesting. (The tea-loving, sentient robot is my favorite.) The weapons are even fun! The land shark gun is great; the game is worth playing just for the land shark gun. The enemies are run-of-the-mill, but some of their comments get a laugh or two. This would have been a great cooperative...

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Third person shooter meets Monty Python, characters are side-splittingly funny, lots of fun shooting action, the oddest weapons you'll see in any game, nice graphics, great voice acting

Weakness: A little repetitve, seems a little short

Third person shooters don't always have to be the same fare, and this game definately delivers something different. For one thing, the characters are very odd and extremely funny, which is half the reason to get the game. The cut scenes are pretty funny as well, which adds to the humor level. The weapons are some of the oddest you'll see in any game, with the land shark gun and the topsy-turvy...

Armed And Dangerous for Xbox

Strengths: Amusing characters & creative new weapons

Weakness: Dingy graphics

This game is fun, and that's all- for it's not terribly memorable. For starters, the graphics are not up to Xbox standards. The video compression on the in game movies is terrible, and the levels are dingy. But everything stripped away- it's just a simple shooter. The characters are amusing, and you seem to be in a cooperative mode with two companions, but I've not seen the benefit of this, for...

Armed & Dangerous

There are lots of things out there in this crazy world of ours that don’t take themselves seriously such as prop comic Carrot Top, reality shows like Average Joe or The Simple Life, and Michael Jackson’s cosmetic surgeon. Few of these, however, really manage to entertain us beyond the initial shock value (except for Michael Jackson’s cosmetic surgeon – his work is downright hilarious)....
