Lord of the Rings Return of the King

Strengths: Fun hack and slash game in Lord of the Rings setting, many characters to play

Weakness: Somewhat repetitive, not a ton of depth

The first GBA game based on the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy was the Two Towers game. This was a typical GBA overhead view action title, yet set in a Lord of the Rings setting. Two Towers Redux

Strengths: High replay value (characters go to Level 52), Bonus Maps allow for experience boosts if you're struggling in the game, hidden characters add to replay value.

Weakness: Graphics could be better, too few enemy types, hard to tell if you're hiting the opponent or being hit; 8 characters & 4 save slots.

If you've played 'The Two Towers' on GBA, you've essentially played this game (in fact, some of the sequences from TTT are re-used in RotK as bonus maps). One of the immediate things you'll notice is that Gimli is available for misison play, not just multiplayer! (Smeagol and Sam can be unlocked for multiplayer and bonus maps in this iteration of the franchise.) With a total of 8 characters...

Great for LOTR fans

Strengths: Many characters to play

Weakness: Bad graphics

You first pick up a character to play: Arogorn, Legolas, Eowyn, Gimly, Frodo, and Gandalf. Each character has his own speciallity. Each characters starts to killing Orcs from a different place as shown in the movie. Basically, you kill the enemies and collect stuffs to improve the character's strength and skills. I only hope the graphics can be improved but I may ask too much for a GBA game....
