Steve is a dreamboat

Strengths: story, cinematics, extras, characters

Weakness: unexciting, slow paced, formulaic

Code Veronica has a more in-depth storyline than most Resident Evil games, and that's saying a lot. Great villains, too, and more extras and cinematics than the original version. As far as gameplay, goes, though, it's the most plain Resident Evil ever, and it can get a bit dull since the game is really, really long for an RE.

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X

Strengths: Another wonderful Resident Evil game for the GC! Awesome graphics, hours of fun.

Weakness: None

This game is a must for any Resident Evil fan. The story is rather interesting and was well written. The game play is not as enjoyable as Resident Evil 2 or 3 for the GameCube I thought but it is still playable. The graphic are nice but no where near that of Resident Evil 4. The audio in the game is really good though which helped make this game a lot more enjoyable to play. A must get for any...

A lazy port of a Dreamcast classic

Strengths: Good story

Weakness: Nothing added, changed or updated from the original version of Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica was originally released for the Sega Dreamcast in 2000 but since then has been re-released on the PS2 and now GameCube as Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X with the X signifying that it has some extra content in the form of story cut scenes involving Wesker. While it is great to see a classic released on the GameCube it's basically a straight port of the same game on the...

A port, but at least they chose a good version to...

Strengths: Still a solid game, and they chose a great version to port this from.

Weakness: No extras other than the original ones from the DC version.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X still stands as my favorite Resident Evil title to this date, even after the release of Resident Evil 4. The story is very well told through intense cutscene, and the characters are great. The cutscenes between Wesker and Chris are still gold. One good thing about this version is that it is a port of the Japanese Biohazard Code: Veronica Complete, which is slightly...

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: Multiple characters to play. Multiple endings. Various locations through out the game.

Weakness: Dated, No added features or enhancements: graphics, controls, or sound.

Would be better at a lower price ($20). It is a port of the PS2 and not DC, hence the X for eXtra storyline elements. Fun game to play, a must for an RE collector or survival horror fan.

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: Resident evil survival horror

Weakness: Port

Resident Evil Code: Veronica for Gamcube is a port of the Playstation 2 version. Therefore, the graphics are not the usual gamecube quality. However, the game is the same great game as the original adventure. After playing Resident Evil 4, the controls need work, however they do a great job in this game. Overall, a good game, but I wish it was reworked like Resident Evil for gamecube.

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: Excellent story filled with suspense, lots of action

Weakness: Almost identical graphics to Dreamcast version; nothing added to warrant purchase if you have another version

This is a tangent story to the main Resident Evil storyline (0-4), but is a well-written story with lots of action. The graphics are outdated but have improved slightly over the original versions. I don't consider it as solid of a gaming experience as 2 and 3 were, and still dislike the control scheme. I can only recommend it to completists who want every Resident Evil game for the Gamecube or...

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: The first truly 3D Resident Evil, new cutscenes since the Dreamcast original, another compelling entry in the Resident Evil series

Weakness: Port of another old PS2 game, requires two separate discs

Resident Evil: Code Veronica debuted on Dreamcast in early 2000 and was later branded with X and given a handful of new cutscenes for the PS2 release (all on one disc by the way) roughly two years following this. Another two years later, Gamecube finally got its own port of exactly the same PS2 game. You play as Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2 and travel to a remote European island to...

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: Storyline is great!

Weakness: Port of dreamcast game - nothing new, outdated graphics and control scheme.

This game is a port from the original Resident Evil: Code Veronica X that debuted on the dreamcast console. Aside from some minor graphical updates displayed from the more powerful gamecube console, this is exactly the same game for the dreamcast. The graphics, sound and controls are very similar to that of the dreamcast (slightly above average), which gives this game an outdate feel to it,...

Resident Evil CODE: Veronica

Strengths: Gameplay, Storyline

Weakness: Behind the Curve Graphics

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is a port of the Dreamcast original. The graphics are, as a port, a little weak. However, they still hold up well enough and the game looks slightly better than it did on the Dreamcast. The sound is good thanks to some relatively good voice acting and a good, haunting score. The gameplay is standard Resident Evil fare, which at this point, you either love or hate....
