Aliens Versus Predator Extinction

Strengths: Real Time Strategy game for PS2, play as the Aliens, Pedators or Colonial Marines, fight for your race's very survival

Weakness: Short overall length, could have used skirmish, multiplayer and online modes, limited replay value

While PC gamers have enjoyed any number of excellent RTS games over the years, console players this hardware generation have had only a handful of decent title to choose from (Goblin Commander also comes to mind). Aliens vs Predator

Strengths: Play as a Marine, Alien, or Predator

Weakness: Seems pretty basic outside of the license

Aliens vs Predator: Extinction is NOT based on the Alien vs Predator movie and is an original Real Time Strategy game. This was an odd game to me. Aliens Versus Predator Extinction

Strengths: Easy to use controls, decent represntation of the various characters.

Weakness: Limited and short gameplay the lacks depth.

This is the best game for Aliens vs Predator fans on the Playstation 2. It is the only option as well. For an RTS game, it is totally lacking any extended gameplay depth.
