Description

Lords of EverQuest capitalizes on the rich history, detailed characters and hundreds of monsters found in EverQuest. Here, three factions vie for the control of the continent Tunaria to shape the future of Norrath. You can choose from 15 customizable heroes to dominate all the action on the medieval battlefield. Take command of one of 15 different lords and then arm your troops with hundreds of items and magical artifacts. It's up to you to build up your forces to the best of your ability so that you can take over Tunaria and give hope to Norrath.

LordsEverQuest

I'm all for game companies expanding really popular brands into new areas -- assuming they do it right. EverQuest, for example, is a hugely popular MMORPG. Sony apparently agrees with me and thought that gamers might want to see that universe brought to other genres. Sony Online Entertainment is one serious bit of business. EverQuest is, for better or worse, the standard of MMO games--a highly successful franchise with a Sims-sized library of expansion packs that was large enough to break into mainstream pop culture and stay there.
