AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Fast, Cheap, reliable

Weakness: Does not work with every single piece of software, some require a intel based chipset

I've had almost no problems with this product, the temp of the proc is stable and the system in general runs okay, I do not have alot of extras on my computer though, I run Windows Server 2003 on it and have had a stable system from day one.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: AMD, stable, ease of installation, great documentation, warrenty, and price.

Weakness: Not really any.

This is about my 12th processor and I buy nothing but AMD. For gaming, AMD is the best and much cheaper than comparable Pentiums. I have not encountered a problem with any of the AMD processors I've purchased. Installation is a snap and the documentation is excellent for the noobie. They stay plenty cool with the OEM heatsink and fan.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: good performance for a low price, easy installation

Weakness: not 64 bit

I purchased the 2700 XP to replace my aging 2000 XP without upgrading my motherboard (ASUS Nforce 2). The performance/price ratio sold me as the next step up (2800 XP) was $40 more for only a couple of framerate difference. Everything from games to the boot sequence is noticably quicker. This is the best choice for a budget upgrade imo. It was only $99 at New Egg and now I won't have to upgrade...

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Fast enough coupled with an ABIT NF7-S V2 mobo and Corsair 512MB Value Select RAM.

Weakness: None so far

Purchased the parts mentioned above after reading a review on the Abit motherboard and components that go well with it. Managed to overclock without any problems.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Complete package with installation instructions, heat sink and fan. Great price performance

Weakness: none

Installation was simple and successful by following the excellent illustrated guide that was included in the box. Everything went smoothly and it is working well. The 2700+ was priced at around $100, which was lower than the Athlon or Sempron 2400, 2500 or 2600, so this is a bargain. The benchmarks show that it beats a 2.6 P4 and it is priced about the same as a 2.4 Celeron, so the price...

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Easy to install. Good processor for the price.

Weakness: Had some early problems with the motherboard recognizing this product.

Good processor this is the third I purchased for my office and they seem to be all working well. My system does not bogg down during multi tasking. Is able to keep up as my old computer was a Pentium and seemed to make my day longer.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Very good chip for the price.

Weakness: None

This chip plays all the newest games. Very easy to overclock but not really needed that much. Right now I have it in a Asus A7N8X- DELUXE motherboard.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: Documentation, overclockability, price,price,price

Weakness: I can't find one yet!

This is just another great product from AMD. I have been using AMD products since the "K-5" days. Now with the advent of the 64 bit technology I suspect that I'll be adding that product to the stable of solid performers that I have used over the past 20 yrs. This is a GREAT product! way to GO... AMD!

AMD Athlon XP 2700+ Processor

Strengths: STABILITY

Weakness: SMALL DIE(HARDER TO COOL)

I have two of these in my systems, and they are the best CPUs I've owned to date.I previously had an 1800 Palimino,a 2100 t-bred,and a 2400 t-bred. These 2700xps not only have the better default speed, but seem to have a higher end,as far as overclocking, also
