Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball

Strengths: Phenominal graphics, down to the backgrounds and footprints on the sandy beaches. Big bonus for being able to use your own custom soundtracks on the game.

Weakness: Not much plot or point to the game, and your 'visit' to the island is limited to 14 days. Also, each day is broken into segments, and any activity will use up a segment

Overall I was satisfied with this game, and glad to have it in my collection. As far as the missing plot and lame story go, I view this as a 'vacation away from your X-Box' game, and as long as you don't go in with too many expecations, I don't think that Tecmo's game will disappoint. It's fairly easy to get the timing right, making this an easy game to master and very little to change in the...

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball

Strengths: Graphics are the best, gameplay is awsome

Weakness: none yet

I think DOAX is the sexiest game to ever hit a game consol. The graphics and gameplay are the best that I've seen in a good long while. I suggest to everyone to get this game if u already haven't. :)

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball

There are just some things no one really expects to see in a video game and, as of recently, some interesting crossings of genres have been made. Did anyone ever really expect to see Metal Gear Solid’s Solid Snake skateboard on the oil tanker in Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance? Did anyone ever expect to see skater Tony Hawk play a game of tennis with his skateboard? So it was surprising to see...

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball is a fun title to have in your collection. The graphics are very impressive and the ladies are pretty easy on the eyes. Come on, there isn't really any other reason to get a game like DOAX, because the volleyball isn't all that great. There are a lot of items to unlock, and it is an excellent party game, and like I said it is just a fun game to have around.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (xbox)

With the possible exception of Halo 2, Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball has generated more buzz than any Xbox release of 2003. A great deal of the excitement stems from the game's gratuitous use of apparel-challenged women. Some of the hype stems from Tecmo's Tomonobu Itagaki -- an anomaly in the Japanese game-development community in that he actually talks smack about his competitors. His...

Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (xbox)

The burden of proof was on this Team Ninja developed game to convince Xbox owners that this was going to be more than an excuse to simply ogle at computer generated semi-nudity. The excellent beach volleyball system prevents DOAX from being an over-priced technical demo with bikinis.
