Strengths: Gameplay, Length, variety of items

Weakness: Bad glitches, graphics

Gladius is a rarity. It is a western produced, turn based strategy game, set in a Romanesque environment, only for consoles. Not the usual game seen from Lucasarts Gladius is about gladiatorial combat in arenas. Hopefully more people grab this sleeper. Gladius' graphics and sound range from good to adequate. Strengths: Variety of items and classes, multiplayer mode increases replay value

Weakness: Slightly buggy

I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to play this game. More turn-based strategy goodness! Gladius

Strengths: A good strategy game, 4-player cooperative and versus mode (only on Gamecube and Xbox, not PS2), a long quest to play.

Weakness: Average plot, slight learning curve fo those not used to strategy games.

When I picked this up on a whim (without doing research mind you), I was expecting an action game that resembled the movie Gladiator; however, this game is nothing like what I imagined.
