Mission Impossible 2: Operation Surma PS2

Strengths: Solid graphics, fun gameplay, low price

Weakness: Kind of dull after a while.

I think it's great that Tom Cruise didn't allow his voice or likeness in this game. I didn't need to run around pretending to be Cruise. The generic Ethan Hunt character was just fine. I enjoyed playing this for a while, although these stealth games are not my favorites. But like the movies, it's solid and diverting. And disposeable.

Mission Impossible

Strengths: decent graphics

Weakness: short

I found Mission Impossible to be a decent stealth game like Splinter Cell. I thought the controls were a little harder than SC. I didn't like the camera control in the game. The main character doesn't look anything like Tom Cruise. The game is not bad for a price tag $10 or less.

Mission Generic

Strengths: Voice acting, simple controls

Weakness: Outdated graphics, lame story, bad chracter animation.

This game is your typical movie based license that provides nothing that could be gotten better in another game. The main character is fairly good but the motions during combat feel awkward and unnatural. The worst part of the game is the camera control, or the lack of camera control. Often it is hard to see the action due to items in the way or the camera responds too slowly. The best part of...

Mission Impossible

Strengths: -good graphics - fun storyline - stealth game but not strict

Weakness: none apparent

I'm a fan of the Mission Impossible movies so I picked up this game. I wasn't dissapointed. As stated before in other reviews, it is reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid, but not as serious. Meaning, its stealth based, but if you are spotted, alarms don't go blaring right away. Story wise, its definitely got its roots in the Mission Impossible mythos. SAVE THE WORLD, etc etc. The game has good...

Mission Impossible 2 : Operation Surma

Strengths: Good graphics. No movie story lines to give the plot away. Entertaining game play.

Weakness: No multiplayer.

This game is really entertaining if you like stealth games like Metal Gear Solid for the Playstation. Graphics and sound make this game enjoyable. Although this game can seem repetitive at times due to the trial and error sequences. Frustrating at times also. Overall a pretty good game. This would be a great game for those who like Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid.

THIS GAME ROCKS!

Strengths: graphics

Weakness: too short

Hard core gamers might not like it, but for me, this game had great graphics, greats movie cut scenes, geat voice over work, intelligent dialogue, well paced action and stealth, excellent use of save points and in-mission checkpoints to minimize repeat level play, and just overall great missions and action! This is worth buying and ignore the haters who have given it a negative review.

Mission Impossible 2: Operation Surma PS2

Strengths: + good graphics + a stealth game where being spotted does not necessarily mean game over + loved the over the shoulder view when shooting

Weakness: - nothing very special about it.

Mission Impossible: Operation Surma is a good stealth game; one that doesn't take it as seriously as Splinter Cell nor is it as memorable as Metal Gear Solid. If you're a fan of the Mission Impossible movies then by all means you should pick this game up. It's easier than Splinter Cell so this is also a good stealth game to start off with. One of the reasons why it's easier is because even if you...

Ethan Hunt is no Sam Fisher, but he does stealth well enough that this Impossible Mission is worth choosing to accept.
