A generic dungeon quest.

Strengths: Good multiplayer combat

Weakness: Weak story and average graphics

This is a modern game that tries to recreate the mulitplayer madness that was the classic arcade game Gauntlet, or more recently Diablo. However it does not add anything that was not been done before. This game is called an RPG, but much of the role playing elements are automatic and the focus is mostly on fighting. Probably the most frustrating thing is during multiplayer every player has...

D&D Heroes

Strengths: Sound effects, Gauntlet-style game play

Weakness: Graphics, Multiplayer, Characters don’t talk, storyline, too easy

D&D Heroes reminds me of Gauntlet in the way the game plays. It is a hack-and-slash adventure where your goal is to decimate everything on the screen with one of the 4 selectable classes of characters. However, the comparisons end there, as this game is not nearly as polished as some of the Gauntlet games that are available on even the old systems. The graphics displayed for an Xbox game are very...

Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes

Strengths: Four Player Multiplayer, Dungeons & Dragons Universe

Weakness: No online player, framerate issues

Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes is an action RPG along the lines of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance or Champions of Norrath. If you are familiar to the genre, you will instantly be at home with this game. The main appeal of the game is the multiplayer where up to four players can hack and slash their way through the story. The story is pretty standard for these games. The four heroes had defeated a...

Dungeons & Dragons: Heroes Xbox

Strengths: Decent Gameplay. Fun Multiplayer

Weakness: Gets repetative. Simple Hack and Slash

D&D Heroes is a basic Hack and Slash game that can be fun. But it isn't anything exceptional. You play a D&D character and level up while fighting your way through numerous bad guys. That's basically it, so it can become rather rote. It's not bad, it's not good, it just is. This game gets a little better when playing with a friend but other than that it's an easy romp. Good if you want to spend...

Dungeons and Dragons Heroes

It was 150 years before that a band of heroes arrived to challenge the dark and evil wizard, Kaedin. Kaedin had sought to rule the land of Baele, and the people cowed before his might - all but four. The fighter, rogue, wizard and cleric stood before Kaedin and through the power of ancestral weapons defeated him on the field of battle. But that was 150 years in the past. In the quiet of the...
