Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for Nintendo...

Strengths: Incredible story and told really well

Weakness: A few levels were on the hard side

Probably one of the best games I have ever played. Truly a work of art. I enjoyed every minute of it- although it took some 24+ hours to complete. The insanity mode is hysterical. A one of a kind gaming experience that will blow you away!!! A MUST HAVE!!!

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (GCN)

Strengths: (1) Great story and characters (2) Involving and unique magic system (3) Good graphics (4) Good voice work (5) 3 different endings/alignments = great replayability

Weakness: (1) Could use more enemy types (2) Levels get reused, however, it is kind of cool to revisit them in different time periods and see how they changed

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem is one of my top ten favorite games of all time. It has a captivating story and original characters that are believable. The game tells a tale of the struggle between gods and how mankind gets tangled up in it over different periods of time. You get to play many characters throughout the game. It is divided into chapters, each one is an interesting adventure...

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for Nintendo...

Strengths: Great story with an interesting concept. Beautiful graphics and tight gameplay.

Weakness: It is over too soon! It takes maybe 10 hours to beat

This is one of those under-appreciated games. It is also a great game to bring more variety to your Gamecube library. It is a psychological thriller game where seeing too many monsters or zombies can make you go insane! Although it makes it harder to play, it is also to most fun when the walls start bleeding etc. You also get to play as different characters throughout history in a 2000 year...

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for Nintendo...

Strengths: Amazing and original storyline, very good graphics, some very scary moments, not a Resident Evil knockoff, a must-have for the GC

Weakness: Not for the faint-hearted.

This game is one of the most unique survival horror games out there, and a must-have for the Gamecube. The story spans over 2000 years with different characters in the different areas in the timeline. Each one suffers from the possibility of going insane from all the psychological damage they suffer through the horrors they see. When insane, things are quite different than when sane, though...

Eternal Darkness

Strengths: Ambitious plot, insanity!

This is probably the closest anybody will ever see to a Call of Cthulhu video game. If you like Lovecraft, you will like this game. The story spanning 2000 years is very ambitious and rewarding, as is being able to play through different characters in different time frames. The way the game reacts to the psychological trauma your characters suffer from seeing horrible things is great! Gamecube...

Breaking the fourth wall

This game is really cool. I love the way it breaks down the fourth wall to mess with the player. When you're character starts to go insane, the game does things to mess with the player, and not all things the player can immediately recognize as a game effect. Aside from that, this is still a very good game. It has a good story, and pretty decent controls. The atmosphere is pretty good at pulling...

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for Nintendo...

Strengths: Good Story, Atmosphere,

Weakness: Fighting is kind of clunky, Camera Angle problems

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for Nintendo GameCube is a unique, survival/horror game for that really never got its due. The game offers an intresting blend of puzzles as well as combat to keep you entertained for hours. With a walk through the game can probably be completed in less than 15 hours, but without I can see it taking a lot longer (maybe double) as certain levels are pretty tough....

Eternal Darkness

Strengths: Insanity effects, where weird things happen to your game. Sound is very creepy.

Weakness: Limited different puzzles, short game. Awkward controls.

The graphics for this game is average and sometimes blocky. The Lovecraft-like storyline will keep you playing until the end. Play it in the dark to capture the right atmosphere for the game.

Top 10 favorite games

Strengths: Great storyline, definately some scares, fun use of magic

Weakness: Some of the puzzles take some time to figure out

This is one of the best 10 games I have ever played. It basically took up all the free time I had because I was so excited about playing. I came into it with low expectations and was really impressed.

Max Roivas is fat

Strengths: Many somewhat interesting characters, story

Weakness: Some chapters are plain dull, graphics

Eternal Darkness is pretty good, but not great. With the graphics it is noticable that this was originally a Nintendo 64 game, but it's by no means ugly, simply not pushing the Gamecube to the limit. The game has a lot of puzzles, the only problem is they are way too obvious. One of my main problems was the magick system, while interesting, was boring to relearn every time I picked it up because...
