Description

Mario Party comes to the DS. Mario and his friends are shrunk down for the game and this causes once harmless locations to take on a bigger challenge. Play in five different game boards, such as Wiggler's Garden and Toadette's Music Room. The goal is to stop Bowser and his latest plan. Mario Party DS

Strengths: Great mini-games, amazing multiplayer experience, ENDLESS FUN!!

Weakness: No online play... maybe in the future? Other than that, great game!

This game is a must-have for anyone who owns a DS, especially if you are a fan of the Mario Party series. Another great aspect of the game is you can do a DS download play with 3 friends and all play off one cartridge. If you don't have friends to play with, there's always story mode or you can just practice & get better at the mini-games.

Mario Party DS

Strengths: Full single-card multiplayer and lots of great minigames.

Weakness: No online play; few boards & characters

Mario Party DS doesn't stray too far from the classic Mario Party formula. The game is built around Party mode, the traditional multiplayer board game on a screen that can be played by up to four players or as few as one, although it's probably Mario Party DS least enjoyable single-player experience. It's Mario Party DS multiplayer that really makes the game a worthy investment. Thanks to the...

Great Game

Strengths: Up to 4 people can play. Lots of mini-games. Great fun.

Weakness: None so far.

My son received this game for Christmas and loves it, ok, we all love it because we all get to play it since everyone in our family received DS lites for Christmas this year. It is a great game for the whole family and you can take it with you anywhere. We would recommend it.

Great game!

Strengths: Challenging game and has many minigames that are fun

Weakness: none

This is an excellent game and is more fun than other games. This game has many different levels and minigames that is why the game is full of suprises and mysteries. I recommend this game. It is kind of like the other Mario Party games but this one is better.

Loads of fun with more than 1!

Strengths: - many different games - fun with 2 or more - pretty easy

Weakness: - not as fun alone - almost TOO easy

Mario Party DS is a great game with lots of different things to do! Id suggest this for a great multiplayer game! Although it is not as great single player...

Wonderful party game

Strengths: Lots of content to for multi-player play with 1 copy of the game. Lots of fun mini games. Easy and quick to learn if you've never played before.

Weakness: Feels like the same games get recycled over and over.

I've played Mario Party 7 and 8 on the GameCube and Wii consoles and I loved them. When Mario Party DS came out I was really excited to buy it but it seemed like it was sold out everywhere. I just purchased it last week and have been playing it for a few days now. I'm very pleased with it and I feel it's just as fun as the other versions. - There's many different modes. The first one I tried was...

Let the party begin!

Strengths: Full single-card multiplayer functionality; lots of great modes & minigames.

Weakness: No online play; few boards & characters

By fully exploiting practically every feature of the DS and stuffing the game card full of innovative mini-games, it reinvents the classic Mario Party formula as a fresh new experience, making it easily one of the best games in the series.

Mario Party Rocks!

Strengths: Lots and Lots of Mini Games - Fun for Adults and Kids

Weakness: None so far

Mario Party for Nintendo DS is just as fun as Mario Party for Wii! This is one of the best Nintendo games made! My 5 year old is always choosing this game along with his 40 year old father. We have played it for 30+ days and haven't come close to getting to all of the 70 minigames. This is a must have for all DS (and Wii) owners!

Best mario party since Mario party 5

Strengths: Tons of minigames in your pocket

Weakness: Some boards may be frustrating.

This is what mario party fans have been expecting. The last three instalment of mario party have been... well, not good enough and boring. This game is the best "minigame" game we have for the Nintendo DS. It contains a lot of unlockables and secrets that adds a lot of replay value. If you are with friends you can enjoy it to the fullest. It can support up to four players. The only downside is...

The Ultimate On-The-Go Party Game!

Strengths: 4 Player games with only 1 cartridge means that you can have a big party with friends if only one of you has the game.

Weakness: There is no multi-cartridge multiplayer which means that the game must load all the time. (loading time not that long but still)

This may be one of the best mario party games to date. The fact that its portable gives it a huge advantage over the major consoles that it has appeared in. While in Party or Story mode you always have the map on the top screen which means no more wasting time looking to see where everyone is. Some mini games use the advantage of the DS technologies such as the mic, stylus, and dual screens but...
