HP (Hewlett-Packard) PSC 950
Strengths: With the new driver CD, this printer does everything I wanted to do just the way I want to do it. I am scanning photos, using OCR, printing beautiful pageds, and the copier is color.
Weakness: I have a DMA conflict (think) when I try to use on USB 2.0 for faster scanning. The conflict knocs me off of MSN (though not other services).
The HP support website contains terrific documentation. The XP CD I requested there came priority mail for free. I like the software "center" concept. I will never utilize all of the features. So far, I have not run into a single problem except for some kind of DMA thing and hopefully that will get fixed down the line. It doesn't affect my work since I have many ways to do the same things and...
