Also includes TI Connectivity Cable. Built-in USB port and external cable allow easy, fast data transfers between linked calculations and computers, as well as unit-to-unit file sharing capabilities. Calculator graphs 10 rectangular functions, six parametric expressions, six polar expressions and three recursively defined sequences. Powered by four AAA batteries with a Silver Oxide battery backup to protect RAM memory during main battery change.

Strengths: Great calculator, easy to use, lots of apps available.
Weakness: Connectivity software less than foolproof, easy set up on WinXP computer, problems on Win2K computer.
I bought this for my son, who needed it for 8th grade Math. It's a good machine, easy to use, but I wish I'd spent a bit more for the Silver edition, with it's greater memory. Setup on Win XP was a breeze, taking no more than 2 minutes to set-up link to computer, upgrade OS and download & install a few games. But with the Win2K computer, we're still fighting, and the TI site is down for...
