MVP Baseball 2004

Strengths: With great gameplay and many additional features

Weakness: Only 2 players are allowed

With great gameplay and many additional features such as Pitching Challenge and Dynasty Mode. Flexible to change the difficulty of game level by my own. I can have a more challenge game than ever! Only two players are allowed in the game, therefore, I can't play it as a party game. However, a one on one game is also excited. One of the best baseball sim I had ever played!!

MVP Baseball 2004

Strengths: Ability to use AA and AAA minor league teams!!

Weakness: Haven't encountered any yet.

This game makes pitching strikeouts very easy! The pitch meter is an excellent feature that makes hitting the accuracy zone very simple. Diving for fly balls, with the Big Play Control makes you look like a true Gold Glove winner every time. This game mirror a true baseball game with the ability to charge the mound after getting beaned. Overall an excellent experience!!

A huge improvement over last year

Strengths: Fielding controls are much smoother, entire gameplay is more realistic

Weakness: some textures are pretty weak, game still has some room to grow

Compared to last years MVP Baseball, 2004 kicks some serious butt. Everything has been looked over and redone. The mechanics are a lot smoother, the graphics are more stunning, and most importantly, the fielding aspect of the game is much smoother and more important. The defense in the game actually matters. The sound and voices in the game are great and true. My biggest complaint however are a...

MVP Baseball 2004

I can’t believe how fast time has flown this past year, it seems like only yesterday that football season started, and now we are already playing Pre-Season games of baseball. To coincide with the 2004 baseball season EA Sports recently released an update to last year’s game: MVP Baseball. Last year they threw out their old game, Triple Play, in favor of starting fresh, and they hit a solid...

MVP Baseball 2004 (ps2)

Remember the simple days when EA's Triple Play was so bad it was never even a consideration as a purchase? Call it the Jeremy Giambi of video games -- recognizable name, not the one you wanna give a $100 million contract to. That changed last year when EA wiped the slate clean and introduced their new franchise MVP Baseball. What we saw in 2003 was a ball game with some innovative ideas, but in...
