Rent or buy

It depends really. If you're a serious RPG'er, you might not like this game. It's not extremely hard and not the best RPG ever. But if you just want to play a RPG that is a lot of fun and shows off its graphics, this is the game for you. Final Statement As much as I love this game I have to accept the truth that this isn't the best RPG ever, but to me it is a damn good one. There are some bad...

Sudeki

Strengths: Solid graphics and voice acting. Fun combat system.

Weakness: Story is not very supported, world feels empty, never really connect with characters.

This game is short, which may not be a bad thing as the price has dropped to near rental levels and games do not have to be over 100 hours to be enjoyable. But Sudeki ends right at the point where most rpgs just start getting really good. And so the story, while it reaches a closure point, never gets fully fleshed out and it becomes difficult to really empathize with the party (which I feel is...

Sudeki for Xbox

Strengths: (1) Enjoyable combat (2) Decent graphics

Weakness: (1) Voice acting and dialog is pretty bad (2) Hard to manage individual members of your party when in combat

Sudeki is pretty much an average game for the XBOX. While the combat and graphics are pretty good, I was totally unable to get into the story due to the bad script and voice acting. Some of the character and level designs are pretty good and the combat is actually pretty fun (as long as you are not fighting too many enemies at once). One problem with the combat is that it is real time (which I...

SUDEKI

Strengths: GOOD CARTOONY GRAPHICS

Weakness: BAD COMBAT MECHANICS

SUDEKI IS AN ACTION RPG THAT HAS A CARTOONY JAPANESE ANIME STYLE GIVEN TO THE GRAPHICS. YOU GET TO PLAY AND CONTROL FOUR CHARACTERS IN YOUR PARTY: A MIGHTY WARRIOR (YOU), A WHINY AND IRRITATING PRINCESS, A YOUNG NERDY SCIENTIST, AND ANOTHER FIERCE FIGHTER. LET ME START OFF THE BAT THAT ALTHOUGH THERE IS A PAUCITY OF RPG'S OUT THERE FOR THE XBOX AND THAT MAY COMPEL YOU TO PURCHASE THIS GAME, THERE...

Worthwhile but not lifechanging

Strengths: Very good looking. Interesting combat system.

Weakness: Short. Nothing stands out at great.

Sudeki feels very much like an RPG that was designed to give the Xbox an RPG since it was low on them at the time. Its good looking, decently written, but overall just feels average. Its worth your time to play it if you've not played the Xbox's better RPGs (Kotors,Fable, etc.) but dont skip something else to play it. Its a good, not great, game.

Disappointing Action RPG on a system the lacks them

Strengths: Nice graphics, decent length, one of the few RPGs on the Xbox

Weakness: Confusing targeting and management system, could use more non-combat gameplay

What you say? An Xbox RPG? These seem to be rare on the big black system, but even less of these seem to be of any quality. While the game is an RPG at heart, the action combat elements take center stage. This is hampered by the lack of a good targeting system and confusing menu-based command systems that requires you to deal with each character individually. This can be frustrating in the heat...

Sudeki

Strengths: Very detailed and colorful environment, realtime combat

Weakness: Bad story and terrrible character design.

It is great to have an RPG with a very detailed environment and a real-time combat system. However this game is really only half-done. First of all, the "anime" inspired character design is totally amateur and boring. Next time, Climax, develop an original style instead this poor fan-boy representation. The bad story. RPG's require good story's otherwise they can be unplayable, it is a good thing...

Sudeki

Strengths: The multiple characters are interesting and the game loads new areas quickly. The story is interesting and the graphics are beautiful.

Weakness: Its difficult to attack enemies at times due to awkward camera angles.

This game plays similar to fable but the characters are more static. overall the beauty of the game is intense, the water movement such as waterfalls, streams, wave and breaks at the beach are spectacular. this game is worth the money and the time to play, the story is also a plus. the back ground in the sky is breath taking.if you take the time to look around the surroudings are beautiful.

Sudeki

Strengths: Unique combat system, bright colorful graphics, decent sound and voice acting, one of just a few exclusive RPGs for Xbox

Weakness: Generic characters don't grow or evolve, lackluster storyline, short overall length, abrupt ending leaves you both surprised and disappointed

Given the relative lack of RPG gaming options for Xbox, genre fans should rejoice over the appearance of Sudeki as a system exclusive action RPG, despite several minor flaws. The bright colorful graphics help to bring the large world of Sudeki to life, and the real-time combat provides a welcome break from the turn-based gameplay Japanese titles often use. Unfortunately, your four party members...

Sudeki

Strengths: Lush graphics, great sound and real time action battles.

Weakness: Takes a while to get into, voice acting is bad, dumb A.I. in your party and switching characters during the battles.

I've just started my quest in Sudeki and I must say I have mixed feelings about it. The game has a lot of positives but is plagued by some problems. The graphics are gorgeous, with a lushly filled world. The soundtracks is quite good too. The battles are also quite fun since they are real time battles but where this game falters is that the battle system is done quite sloppily. You only get to...

Sudeki

Imagine a world of lush environments. The sun is beautifully bright, and at night the sky is darkened with a navy blue hue. The clutter of modern-day society (smog, busy streets, angry businessmen) is nothing more than fiction. The townspeople are actually sweet, and the worlds are comprised of villages you'd enjoy visiting. They'd make the perfect vacation spot for some, and a decent place to...

Sudeki

Yes, it's incredibly redundant to say so, but it bears mention, in this case: The Xbox is far from an RPG powerhouse. Two games on its roster stand out--namely, KoTOR and Morrowind, and they do so quite significantly, actually--but apart from infrequent releases like these, it's pretty much a wash. Enter Sudeki, Microsoft and Climax's attempt at fixing this mess. It's been in the cooker for a...

Sudeki

It's been a long time coming, but Climax Studios' promising RPG Sudeki is finally at hand. With the Xbox RPG lineup split between some of the very best RPGs of all time and the true dregs , it was only a matter of time before a few average RPGs began to show up on the list to split the difference. Welcome, Sudeki, an RPG that manages to create an absolutely balls-on fantastic combat system only...
