Sonic Heroes (Xbox)

Strengths: Nice graphics, teamplay additions

Weakness: Sloppy controls

Sonic Heroes is the first Sonic game designed for the Xbox, and it looks pretty good. New to the game is the concept of the teams, which are groups of three Sonic characters working together with specific abilities and teamwork combinations. However, the controls are a bit sloppy, which makes precision moves a bit hard gets a bit frustrating. It's a decent Sonic game, though it does need some...

Another Mediocre 3D Sonic

Strengths: Great sense of speed, new teamwork aspect works well

Weakness: Loose controls, bad camera

Alas, another mediocre 3D Sonic game. I grew up on the original Sonic games for the Genesis. Those games were fast, controlled great, and had pretty good graphics for the time. The transition of Sonic from two dimensions to three has not been all that kind, though. If you’ve played either of the Sonic Adventures, you will be instantly familiar with what Sonic Heroes has to offer. This game is...

SONIC HEROES

Strengths: classic Sonic tunes and sound FX

Weakness: camera can be irritating at times

SONIC HEROES is a third person platformer for the xbox. If u are a fan of the Sonic series since the sega genesis days and the different iterations on the sega dreamcast, u will love this game. It has a huge cast of characters which are broken down in teams of 3 , for a total of four teams: Teams Sonic, Dark, Chaotix , and Rose. U are able to swap out different team members to be team leader as...

Sonic Heroes

With feet built for speed, Sonic the Hedgehog is a perfect match for the Xbox. Since his first appearance so many years ago, Team Sonic must have dreamed about this kind of power, and what it could do for the hyperkinetic levels that drew players to Sonic like fanboys to Star Wars. And, after a couple of near-fatal Dreamcast missteps, the prospect of a new Sonic built for speed is like a...

Sonic Heroes

Remember Sega’s Genesis game system? Remember the Dreamcast? Remember one of the legendary animated heroes of them both? Of course, the blue-speedball being referred to is Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic The Hedgehog is one of the more recognizable heroes of the video-game world. And the name “Sonic” on a game package usually meant fast-paced and enjoyable times in the gaming world. Many years...

Sonic Heroes

Sonic the Hedgehog, like Nintendo's fat, Italian plumber, has been around forever. He blasted through loops and sped through corkscrews on Sega's 16-bit Genesis console and has delighted hordes of fans ever since. But not everybody's been happy with the mascot's transition to 3D. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 for Dreamcast proved to be fast and pretty, but also lacked polish. Drawbacks included play...
