Great Simpsons Game

Strengths: +Great Simpson experience on the consoles +Authentic to the tv show +Voices from the tv show are here +Playable on the xbox 360

Weakness: -Cheap GTA port -Camera -Easy game -Not much replay ability

Simpsons Hit and Run finally gives Simpson fans a chance to roam Sprinfield. You play as different members of the Simpson family and each family has a different part of Springfield they can explore. Game play is very similar to Grand Theft Auto. You can steal cars and you are free to explore all of Springfield. This game is authentic to the tv show. All the main voice actors reprise their roles...

Simpsons Hit & Run

Strengths: Grand Theft Auto comes to Springfield, nice graphics, great voice acting and sound, good gameplay, a great Simpsons' game

Weakness: Occasional graphic hiccups

Simpsons: Hit and Run is one of the best Simpsons games out for any console, not just a use of the license, but a real game with real gameplay. The gameplay is based loosely on Grand Theft Auto, though with a Simpsons flair to it. There are many missions to run in the game, covering all parts of the Simpsons cast. It's a knockoff of GTA, but in the best ways possible. The gameplay works and works...

Simpsons Hit & Run

Strengths: the abillity to duplacate Grand Theft Auto with out the violence.(not that violence is bad or any thing)

Weakness: the point where if you look behide you and see cars then you look forward and look back again they've vanished or theres different cars

we'll the joy of highjacking a car yet not because you become a passenger and really the most violent thing is that you run someone over or evenkick them.Okay driving not slacking anything very needed in this situation. Most kids would enjoy the plot and as will adults.Interesting vehicals and characters. well intell next review peace out

Homer meets Grand Theft Auto

Strengths: All of the main characters are playable, Springfield is accurately reproduced, many great gags, perfect for fans of the series

Weakness: Some annoying camera problems, a few noticeable bugs and frame rate issues

The Simpsons: Hit and Run is the best Simpsons game ever released on the home console and the best overall since The Simpsons Arcade Game. The developers chose to make the game a rip-off of the gameplay found in Grand Theft Auto but made a solid winner in the process. With the fans of the series finally being taken into consideration, this game comes packed with all sorts of nice treats. You can...

The first good Simpsons Game?

Strengths: Good graphics, hilarious storyline, excellent voice acting, huge game levels, good replay value.

Weakness: No weapons, similar to GTA (Is that a bad thing?), camera sometimes gets stuck, minor framerate issues.

I am glad to say that there is finally a good Simpsons game! This is pretty much GTA Simpsons! Even though its a rip off it is still really really good. Huge levels, lots of areas to explore and things to do, side missions and bonus races. Obviously the humor from the show is here too, with all the characters voiced by the shows actors. Very funny indeed! If you are a Simpsons fan and don't own...

Yes, it's GTA clone for the Simpsons, but it really...

Strengths: Often hilarious dialogue, bright fun graphics, arcade like gameplay

Weakness: Some repetativeness, T-rating should be taken seriously

The Simpsons: Hit and Run is more fun than you might think. Like some of the reviewers have said, it's GTA all over again, but it's got a lot more sense of humor. No, there won't be blood and guts all over the streets. But I purchased this thinking my 6-year-old could play it. I second guess myself after a few minutes of playing. It's not that bad, but the dialogue definately pushes it towards a...

Best Simpsons Game Ever. . .

Strengths: Excellent graphics and sound, all the voice actors and effects from the show, show's humor translates well, free form sandbox game play, will please kids and adults, budget price

Weakness: Just another GTA3 clone, occasional camera and frame rate issues

The Simpsons tv series has seen roughly a dozen video game translations over the years, but this is the first time (besides the arcade game) where the developer actually got it right. This is probably the best Simpsons license video game ever made. Where Simpsons: Road Rage stole its game play from Sega's Crazy Taxi series, Hit & Run steals from Rockstar's current generation Grand Theft Auto...

The Simpsons take on GTA!

Strengths: The best Simpsons game made yet, good graphics and voice acting, fun gameplay, funny, 16:9 widescreen for Xbox only.

Weakness: Control could use some help, world could be more lively.

It's kind of sad how the Simpsons license has been abused by so many bad games through the years. But finally after 15-years, someone made a game that is worthy of the Simpsons license - that game is Hit and Run, although the developers had to take a page from Grand Theft Auto in order to do so. It's really great to see a somewhat accurate representation of Springfield and be able to drive around...

Mmm...fun.

Strengths: Very much like the show. Good controls. Surprises you how much fun it is.

Weakness: A tad short. A little more story would have been nice.

This game is good for EVERYONE, non Simpsons fans too. Yes. I dont care for the Simpsons anymore yet had a BLAST with this game.Id sit down to play for 20 minutes tops and somehow 3 hours would pass. Id want to finish up a level or get one more car and *poof* away the evening went. The game cant be described by its parts. The driving isnt revolutionary, the controls arent that great, and the...

The Simpsons: Hit & Run

Strengths: Simpsons universe, Grand Theft Auto style gameplay

Weakness: Camera and graphics could have been improved

The Simpsons: Hit and Run is a game that takes full advantage of its television show license. Fans of the show will instantly recognize a huge cast of characters and fully fleshed out Springfield. There are plenty of references thrown in from the shows that provide for a lot of inside jokes. The nice thing about this game though, is that they implemented the license into a really good game. This...

The Simpsons Hit & Run

I'm a huge Simpsons fan. I smiled when I got this. I smiled when I watched the opening sequences (which play out like an actual TV episode intro). I smiled when I played it. As I write the review, in reflection, I am still smiling. In fact, I hope to get back to it-- soon. This isn't a toss-away attempt to cash in on a commercial, marketing success like some Olsen Twins gig; this is legitimate,...
