The best street game out there.

Strengths: Great list of players; cool street career mode; spectacular moves; gamebreakers; solid overall presentation

Weakness: No XBox Live

NBA Street Vol. 2 is an arcade-style 3-on-3 basketball game that takes place on street courts across the country. The great part about the game is that you still have the big names from the NBA but in a street setting. The career mode is particularly exciting as you assemble a team with your custom made player and play pickup games and tournaments across the country. As you beat certain teams and...

NBA Street v2

Strengths: Smooth running (controls, framerate, graphics) and fun to play with tons of moves

Weakness: Single player gets old

This is one of my favorite basketball games on Xbox simply because it is so fun to play, especially when gaming multiplayer with a room full of friends. Even if they are all new to the game, they can pick it up and have very quickly, the buttons etc are easy to learn. However if you are looking for a realistic/simulation kind of basketball game, look somewhere else, this game throws reality out...

This game ROCKS

Strengths: Very intense basketball game for strong hearted participants

Weakness: Lacks a bit on the reality scene

This game is awesome for people who have little concern over the real way basketball is played. I played this fr about 4 hours with my son last night and we both loved it. Action + is the best way to describe this game... Mortal combat meets MJ

NBA Street Vol. 2

Strengths: Fun arcade gameplay, lots of unlockables, good controls

Weakness: Single player can get repetitive

NBA Street Vol. 2 is EA's second arcade style basketball game in this series. It improves on a lot of things from the first game while keeping the control scheme easy to use. This is an easy game for anyone to pick up and play because you can instantly be doing all kinds of crazy moves with the push of a button. The gameplay is fast and fun and this version features a lot of unlockable NBA...

Basketball finesse mixed with attitude and spunk.

Strengths: Smooth graphics and framerate. Animations of dunks and moves are well done and character models are simply fluid and amazing. Really brings out some of the "street basketball" vibes.

Weakness: Jerky movements when changing directions or from a complicated ball trick to a dunk. Single player mode does become redundant over time.

Being my first basketball game on the Xbox, I didn't know what to expect, the presentation of "street basketball" just caught my eye so I had to buy it. Single player mode was basically the only thing I played and it did get very old and boring as I tried button mashing my way to the top, eventually getting players that could score 3 pointers with ease or block a shot at any time and steal the...

NBA Street Vol. 2 for Xbox

Strengths: Smooth, stylish, frenzied, and fun!

Weakness: No online play, single-player loses its luster somewhat quickly

NBA Street Vol. 2 was the king of arcade basketball games a couple of years ago, and some still consider it the best around. The graphics are highly stylized, and the gameplay is dunkalicous. While the single-player element eventually grows tiresome (after you unlock all the extras), the game is always a blast to play with friends.

NBA Street Vol. 2

Ask anyone what makes a great sports game and most likely they'll tell you that above all else, realism is the way forward. How ironic then that EA's super-hip hoop-shooting sequel -- NBA Street Vol. 2 -- is anything but realistic. Instead of getting bogged down in ultra-complex niggling details, players are literally assaulted by a huge wave of near-perfect, arcade-style street basketball that...

NBA Street Vol. 2

When the original NBA Street hit PS2 and GameCube it just about spelled certain doom for Midway's groundbreaking NBA Jam/Showtime series. Street quite simply did everything better and with more of an edge. With the arrival of NBA Street 2 on Xbox, GameCube and PS2 you're getting so much more --more dunks, more players, more moves, more music and a lot more street-- that even most fearful...
