Electronic Arts The Lord of the Rings: The Return of...

Strengths: A++, lots of run, great for you hack-and-slash lovers. Graphics are wonderful, transitions beautiful, and even includes clips from the movie

Weakness: none-one of my favorites

I highly recommend this game for lotr and non-lotr fans. It is basically a hack and slash with awesome graphics. Some levels are easy, while others are really difficult. Loads of entertainment even after the game is finished.

Electronic Arts The Lord of the Rings: The Return of...

Strengths: good graphics, fun, can be as hard or easy as you want, RPG-style leveling up is cool, multiplayer is unbelieveably fun

Weakness: makes you want to wish that the stick was in a higher spot, some very hard levels

This is one of the must-buy PlayStation2 games of 2003. First of all, the graphics. Killing orcs has never looked sweeter. This game will suck you in and not let go until you beat it. Sure, some of the levels are frustrating, but you can always go to another path if you're stuck. Now I'll go on about multiplayer now. It starts with Path of the King. Players choose from either Aragorn, Legolas,...

Electronic Arts The Lord of the Rings: The Return of...

Strengths: Awsome! The graphics is incredible. The game is so easy to control and learn. I couldn't stop myself playing it.....

Weakness: Many people said is too short, and I guess I have to take their word on it.

Here is the summary: Graphics 9/10 Control 9/10 Fun Factor 10/10 This is one of the game I love this year. Of course, I am the big fan of LOTR.... :)

Electronic Arts The Lord of the Rings: The Return of...

Strengths: Excellent Graphics, high sound quality, variety of playable characters

Weakness: Too short

Return of the King is by far the best Lord of the Rings console game made to date. It shows off some excellent graphics and has alot of fast paced combat. The one thing I really liked about it was that it allowed me to chose from many different characters. Some days I play as Gandalf, and some days I want to through the levels as Pippin...the game gives me the freedom to take all of these...

Electronic Arts The Lord of the Rings: The Return of...

Strengths: Good graphics and brilliant gameplay.

Weakness: To short and to easy!

Don't get me wrong this is good game but it's just to short and to easy. It took me and a mate about 3 hours to complete. It even says it up there I only had it for 5 days ,buy it if you want but you won't have it for long.

Lord of the Ring: Return of the King (PS2)

Strengths: Graphics and soundtrack

Weakness: Online gaming has been retired

Lord of the Ring: Return of the King (PS2) is the third and last installment of the epic trilogy on the PS2 platform. This installment has outdone the previous two. It is truly the game to rule them all. The game has the same epic feel to the game play and music. The pre-rendered cut scenes and in-game elements are amazing and true to the original story. The only negative about this game is that...

Eye Candy

Strengths: extremely detailed graphics, large cast of characters, all the voice acting sounds from the movie.

Weakness: not enough cutscenes from the movie!, extremely difficult in single player mode even on easy.

Return of the King is great eye candy but playing the game was one of the worst and most frustrating experiences I've ever had - even more frustrating than playing Devil May Cry! Graphically, the game looks awesome and is considerably better than Two Towers. The characters are highly detailed and now the screen is swarming with countless enemies. Which leads to the biggest problem I had with the...

The king has returned.

Strengths: Graphics, combat system, sound, co-op mode.

Weakness: Replay value (sorta), not much difference between characters (within their class), no good new cheats/loss of fun old cheat

I kept from buying this game for as long as I could (since I didn't want to buy it until the movie actually came out). There are a lot of good things about the game that make it fun, while replaying levels with a different character is not quite as fun as it sounds. My first complaint is that there are too little differences between characters in ther class type: Aragorn and Faramir (one of the...

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

It is hard to believe that it has been two years since the first Lord of the Rings movie came out. The Fellowship of the Ring was one of the best movies that had come out in a while, due to its musical score and setting. Last year when the Two Towers was released, I was blown away at how much better that movie was in comparison to the first one. This year we will finally see the conclusion of the...

LordRings ReturnKing

It's like a hammer. When I first played this game, it was like a sledgehammer came down and smashed everything on screen to bits. Everything from the whiz of smoking arrows to the seemingly infinite particles bursting in air to the furious roar of Tree-ents tearing Saruman's damn down to the omnipresent score ratcheting the tension of the moment to a higher level. When you finish the first level...

LordRings ReturnKing

Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy set a new standard for movie adaptations of novels. Fittingly, EA Games' The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King has set a new standard for video-game adaptations of movies. This outstanding title transports you to a beautifully rendered version of Peter Jackson's Middle-earth where you can engage in heart-stopping action as many of the movie's...
