Futurama

Strengths: Hilarious story, good graphics, Awesome voice acting, 3 playable characters, All the cutscenes add up to an entire show!

Weakness: Repetitive, poor controls, poor camera, short.

This is tough one to review since if you removed the Futurama license would be a pretty bad game. With the poor controls, poor camera, and the short experience. However if you are a die hard Futurama fan you will overlook this fact to enjoy a new episode of the cancelled TV show (Bring it back!). All of the cutscenes throughout the game add up to an entire episode. It is very funny indeed. So...

Futurama (Xbox)

Strengths: Great voice acting, great Futurama action

Weakness: Platform elements a bit frustrating, bad camera view

Futurama is a platforming game set in the cartoon show universe. All of the voice actors from the show do the character voices, so it's a very nice touch. The game looks like a moving Futurama episode, with some platforming thrown in there, some of which are a bit frustrating due to precision jumping needed. Some camera issues also cause problems. Though, for Futurama fans will look past these...

An okay game for a great cartoon series

Strengths: Great graphics, voice acting and captures the spirit of the show nicely.

Weakness: Mindless collecting, not too different from your normal average platform game but suffers from a bad camera system.

First of all let me say the graphics on this game on quite good. Anyone who follows the cartoon will recognize everything perfectly. The game uses cel shaded technique to match the "cartoon" feel. If you are a fan of the show you will enjoy this game as it contains exclusive "episode" footage not found anywhere else. The platforming and adventuring are pretty much run of the mill and anyone who...

Futurama: The Game

Strengths: Great characters with lots of comedy

Weakness: One level in particular (riding with Dr. Zoidburg) is very hard and frustrating.

There are many levels to keep you entertained, with good graphics and voice work. The game is pretty simple and won’t take you long to beat. The basic premise is you go about the levels collecting items you need for an end goal/boss fight. Ultimately, your desire is to stop Mom from her evil plans, just as in the show. It’s a fun game, silly but entertaining. A must for true fans! Solid...

Futurama Xbox

Strengths: Voice acting from the tv cast, decent graphics and sound, series comedy preserved in-game, good/challenging platform and shooting game play, tons of unlockable extras

Weakness: Difficult to appreciate if you're not a fan of the show, a couple of the 22 levels don't really work, you'll want to complete it just for the extras

Matt Groening's Futurama may not have a primetime network following anymore, but the series lives on aboard the Cartoon Network and this surprisingly good action adventure videogame. Playing like a lost episode from the tv series, the game sees Mom taking over Planet Express and 50% of the Earth, and it's left to the Planet Express crew (you'll play a level or two with each member) to stop her....

Futurama

Back around the sixteenth century, a wise soul concluded: The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. Had that dude been alive today, he might have substituted games based on pop licenses as the paving material. These days, virtually no hot TV show or movie fails to spawn a generic platformer or repetitive action title. Now it's Futurama's turn, as Matt Groening's other cartoon leaps onto the...

Futurama

It happens to all us of. We've all come into contact with a TV series we love, adore or cherish, and we crave its byproducts, whatever they may be. I rarely watch TV, but when I do it's an all-Sunday affair, and I do it with my wife and child. I start with the 7 pm showing of Futurama, skip King of the Hill, tune in for The Simpsons and when it was good, we always eyed The X-Files. I'm guilty as...
