Star Wars Episode III Xbox

Strengths: Movie Clips, Co-Op Play, Jedi Powers

Weakness: Short, Graphics are Fair, No Xbox Live

Summary: Star Wars Episode III:Revenge of the Sith is a fun game that mirrors the plot of the movie of the same name. You control both Anakin and Obi-Wan as you follow the base plot of the movie. They do a good job of intertwining the movie with the video game elements to make it very entertaining. Unfortunately, the game ends in about 6 hours and even with the unlockables, it still probably only merits a rental for most people.

This is not the licensed-game you're looking for. . .

Strengths: Movie-correct audio, John Williams soundtrack, brief film clips, faithfully follows flick, solid graphics

Weakness: Simplistic game play, weak enemy AI, short overall length, limited replay value, no online support

Licensed movie-games have a special place in most gaming enthusiasts' hearts. Usually the license alone is enough to pull in the core film base and enough casual fans to ensure the game reasonable sales regardless of quality. Star Wars Episode III is guilty of this crime, but Star Wars fans will probably find enough to like here to justify a purchase.

Episode III the game features the genuine sound effects and score from the film, and the graphics (including brief clips from the film) do a reasonable job of recreating the theater experience. Still, the difficulty level will be too low for most players, and the single player campaign ends after a mere five hours. The limited extras (a battle mode) and lack of online play further deflate the experience.

Episode III the game came out several weeks before the initial film release, but the $50 price tag made it a poor investment then. At a more reasonable $10-$20 price today, Star Wars fans may want to consider a purchase. It's still not a great game, but it lets you interact with the Episode III experience in a way that the film simply cannot.

GREAT GAME to A GREAT MOVIE....

Strengths: A GAME that finally lives up to Movie... Graphic is simply amazing... very bright & lifelike... Kicking soundtrack!

Weakness: A bit on the Short-Side... Expensive...

This is the 1st Star Wars game, that finally stay true to the movie... battlefront doesn't count...

Pros: Great Amazing Graphics.... This game really show the power of the XBOX hardware over the PS2... Soundtrack is stay true to the movie... Can't get enough of it. Being able to play as the dark-side... Fun gameplay for all age to enjoy.

Con: None beside for the price I paided $50 & it's a bit short...

Overall: 3 OUTTA 5 STARS

Star Wars Episode III

Strengths: Great Graphics & Sound

Weakness: Linear Quest

Star Wars Episode III was released in conjunction with the movie of the same name. At $40 the game is quite straight forward, only taking a few sittings to beat. The great graphics move the game along, and the story follows the movie version. Experienced gamers will find the game somewhat repetitive, but Star Wars fans will want to add this game to their collection.

Great game for any Star Wars fan

Strengths: Great Movie Clips, Multiplayer, Really Fun Using the Force and the Lightsaber

Weakness: Pretty short game, Very linear, Wish they had more players in the multiplayer

This is a really fun game at the start. When I began this game it was a blast. As I went into the later levels of the game, it became very repetitive. It was also a really short game. I think I beat it in about 4-5 hours. The cool part is the sidequests. I plan on playing this game over just to finish all the sidequests. I wish they made the game a little longer than it is. The shortness of the game, makes people dislike this game a lot.

The good fun part of this game is the multiplayer portion. It is really fun on how you can play as Mace Windu and fight againist General Grevious. This is the part of the game that I enjoyed the most. I would recommend this game to any Star Wars fan, but for the gamer who is looking for a lengthy and challenging game, this game is not your answer.

Star Wars Episode 3

Strengths: Movie clips, force powers, graphics

Weakness: Game play, awkward voice acting

I had great expectations for this new Star Wars game, especially since it was releasing before the movie. However, once I started playing the game, I found myself becoming more and more disappointed.

The game follows the different events of the movie, enabling you to play as one of the 2 main characters from the beginning, Obi-wan or Anakin. Also, you can obtain force powers and upgrades as you play. The game even offers different clips from the movie, for those that have not seen it.

But all is not well with this game. The voice acting spots are horribly awkward and the game play is just not that fun. This game is another average movie inspired/based game that really is not worth your time unless you are a die hard fan.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Authentic Star Wars experience, cooperative mode, versus dueling mode, good graphics and sound.

Weakness: Fighting system not that deep, repetitive.

Time after time, Lucasarts makes games based on the Star Wars movies and time after time, they disappoint. Perhaps the best and most faithful games they have created in the last 30 years were the SNES games. Now comes Episode III and I must admit this is probably Lucasart's best effort to date (despite some flaws). It's basically an action game with some light puzzle elements. You can also power up your characters in between levels. The game shows a ton of clips from Episode III so if you don't want any spoilers, you better watch the movie before you play this game. The graphics are quite good but I couldn't help but think they could be better in order to match the pure digital spender that is the real movie. Some of the missions are repetitive but you'll want to keep playing in order to unlock the cooperative and versus modes. These are great features. It's great to see Darth Vader battle against his younger self. Fans of Star Wars will rejoice when they play this game.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Has clips from the actual movie. Great game for 2 players (vs mode/co-op mode). Good graphics.

Weakness: Must play through level 2 in order to play co-op mode. NO way to skip movie clips.

This game is really fun and easy to learn. I really enjoyed playing this game because I get to see different aspects of the movie before I even see it. I mean, the game shows ACTUAL movie clips from the movie...(sad part is..if you've seen the movie, too bad..you HAVE to watch it and there's no way to skip the movie clips...). Unlockables include concept art and once you beat a level you can play the movie clips whenever you want! Great game...oh yeah and every aspect of a Jedi seems to be playable (you have a "force jump" and you need to use the force in order to move certain objects...pretty cool...) Plus after each level, you use the experience gained to level your character up in areas selected by you (eg. you want Anakin to learn new powers? then use the experience towards "area attacks" and once you fill that bar up he'll learn new powers/moves). Overall, this is a pretty good game, by far probably the best Star Wars game to be released.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Gameplay and graphics are good.

Weakness: Voice actors and somewhat repetitive.

This game plays well and delivers a satisifying gaming experience. It's storyline follows the movie well and offers some action players can really enjoy. All in all it is a good game that just needed a little extra polish to be a great game.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: graphics, storyline

Weakness: annoying voice acting

Fans of the latest Star Wars movies will love this game. If you haven't watched Episode 3 in the theaters and hate spoilers then do not play this game since it follows the movie well. The cut scenes from the movie are great and the transition from cut scene to game play is awesome. The game itself is fun to play but the character customization seems to be incomplete. I would have given this game 5 stars if it wasn't for the voice acting.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Agility, character moves

Weakness: Voice actors not the same as the film

Overall satisfying gameplay. Expands on the events of the film providing more detail to the story. Unlockable characters and levels allow for one to play light and dark side. Versus and co-op modes are great. Unfortunately, online 'live' play no supported.

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Star Wars is one of the most lucrative franchises known to mankind. Almost everyone knows of Star Wars or at least some of its characters, even if they don’t like the movies, or (gasp!) never seen them at all. Every corner you turn there is some Star Wars related merchandise that is begging for you to purchase it. With the release of the last movie in the first trilogy, you knew there had to be...
