Strengths: RTS on a console, different gameplay for different sides, no online play
Weakness: Bad camera angles, console controls different for PC players
AvP: E is a port of the PC title brought to the Xbox. It has three races to play from, the aliens, the predators and the marines. Each race has different gameplay and different objectives for each. The difficulty ramps up as the games goes along, so it provides a good gameplay experience. One issue is the camera, which can have some issues with visibility, and PC RTS players might have some issue with the controls. Overall, it's a RTS for a console, which is a rare thing indeed, and a good one.

Strengths: Diverse character choices, rare to find a good strategy game on a console, detailed graphics
Weakness: No multiplayer, dry audio/voiceovers, not much to listen to
If you’re new to strategy games, play the tutorials first. It wasn’t hard to learn the controls, and the game play differs if you're playing as aliens or predators or marines. Good for the novice strategist, but should also be challenging for the pros. Pretty cool game overall, a nice change from RPGs and platforms. Replay value limited since there’s no multiplayer mode.

The new game to bear the AvP name is a nod to the Command & Conquer series and other real-time strategy (RTS) games. Is...
