Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen

Strengths: Good interface, Long life of battery and it recharged fast, cheep, BIG Storage.

Weakness: To use it as an external hard drive you need to install nomad explorer. Included case uses elastic to keep closed, but if you are in a hurry you might not get a good hold to stick the elastic together

Overall it is a good product , but it is extremely shock-able so if you do get it do not let it drop, and always keep it in its case. Also if it drops then Creative’s Warrantee dos not cover the player anymore (Not Cool).
Cool that you can update the firmware online. You may wont to think about getting better headphones to.

Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen

Strengths: Stylish, Affordable, Upgradable, Good Customer Service, Huge Capacity, Easy User Interface, Upgradable Firmware, Great Software

Weakness: none

Owned it for years and never lets me down. I can hook it up to the stereo or an FM transmitter and I have great Creative SoundBlaster Audigy sound. Ipods are too expensive at the time and lesser space, I use Windows and the software included lets me rip my CD's and with my FM Wired Remote that does not need batteries when connected to the Zen allow me to: Record Audio in MP3 or Wav formats. I can vary the Gain, and Kbps of the MP3. I show it to my friends and every single one wanted to get one. They sold their ipods and got 2 of these, one for them and one to give away. Environments is one of my favorite features because you can listen to your music as it would sound in a concert hall, stadium, Jazz, Rock, Arena. Unbelievable Volume Management and Time-Scaling can slow up or speed down playback.
