Strengths: +Good Graphics in comparison to PS2
+Innovative Titles (Resident Evil 4, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat)
+Decent Controller Layout
+GBA Player and Linkability
Weakness: -Smaller Library than PS2
-No Online
-No DVD Player (Not Really a Let Down)
Although it may not have the online play or DVD compatibility, the Nintendo Gamecube is still the overall the best system on the market. It doesn't rely on violence or immorality as selling points (unlike Microsoft and Sony with the Halo and GTA franchises), but rather relies on good, old fashioned innovation.

Strengths: Has the most visually impressive games ever for a console.(aka Resident Evil) Plays games exclusively by Nintendo, the greatest game software developer on earth.
Weakness: It's not made as a multimedia machine. Hence no DVD playback feature. But on a further + point, lower console costs, and more focus on game development.
A game machine that does just that. Plays games by the best, Nintendo, who not only develops video games, but works of art. Think of all the great exclusives. They consist of The Legend of Zelda series, Super Mario series, Metroid series, Star Fox series, F-Zero series, and more. Nintendo has been in the buisness longer than the other two competators. And with video game experience for well over 20 years, you can expect great things.

Strengths: Simply the best console at present. It looks good, it performs well. It has great games. Great product design both external and internally. It is user friendly, simple to develop for and small.
Weakness: McXbox and McSony fanboys complain about the lack sub-standard games and the fact it doesn't have poor standard C.D and DVD playback capabilities.
Nintendo have been gaming for over 20 years. They are the pioneers of the gaming world. When Sony was trialing their first walkman, Nintendo were making the games, when Miscrosoft was trying to write code for their first peice of software, Nintendo were making the games.
From the Game and watch days of the 80's to the GameCube and GameBoy days of today. Nintendo demands respect because by not selling out over 20 years, they have earnt it.
Soon McDonald will release their own console, why not Sony and Microsoft have. In fact from now on I am going to call these sellouts McSony and McXbox consoles.
I have a sony entertainment unit, ps one and an md walkman. A PC with microsoft windows running. And for my gaming I have my little gamecube and my gba when I'm on the road.
Nintendo true to the game.
The others although they might be good, are just McConsoles trying to steal some of NIntendo's ground.

Strengths: Graphic Powers, Well Designed Controller, Small Footprint, Sometimes Unnoticeable Load Times.
Weakness: Mini-CD, would be cool if I could at least play an audio CD on it.
The GameCube is a gamer's paradise. I've seen the graphics on Xbox and PS2 and I haven't seen anything that my ATI Radeon 7500 can't do. And to think of it, since they are both PC based, you'd think they'd have all the bells and whistles figured out for a PC type GPU. Nintendo, on the other hand, is in a league of it's own by using new technology and so far only touching a bit a what it's capable of doing. If you've played Metroid Prime, you'll see unbelievable graphics at a perfect framerate.
Yes, Nintendo has a lot of childish games, but that's who should be playing them. Old gamers are the ones who should grow up, not Nintendo. Nintendo was made as a Family Entertainment System and will always remain that way. I love inviting my niece and nephew over to play Super Monkey Ball. I think the game sucks, but they love it and we have a blast playing it together.
Super Smash Brother Melee is another awesome game. Sure it doesn't have all the blood and guts of Mortal Kombat, but it has very good gameplay and replay-ability. I'd rather play that than MK anyday.
If you're trying to decide which console to buy, think of this: You can't check your email or type up a document with Xbox and PS2, so you might as well spend a little extra to buy a PC with Bleem to get the same results.
If you want a gaming console, buy the Nintendo GameCube, because that is what it truly is. That's why there's no DVD support. If you want a DVD player, buy a DVD player.

Strengths: Specialized parts like proccesor and graphics card not commercial parts. 4 players. Good relaxing games and great for sports games.
Weakness: Game lineup currently and the lack of online games, For gamecube fans go to www.WarpPipe.com and u can play double dash kirby and 1080 online against other people!!!!! Lack of shooters.
I recieved a gamecube last year for christmas. I sold it after buying 5 GAMES and 2 controllers.I bought an XBOX and wasnt pleased with its narrow first person shooter lineup (thats all they have).I sold it after buying sports games and shooters and adventure games they all were mediocre. I bought a PS2 and bought like 12 games and loved it. The load times were frustrating and the graphics were noticibly different to the other two competitors (XBOX and Gamecube). Im back to the Gamecube after selling my PS2 and im happy so far and this is my felocify BUY A CONSOLE FOR FUN AND GAMEPLAY NOT FOR DVD and BRAGGING RIGHTS BUY WHAT YOU WANT AND LOOK AT THE CUBE AND DONT OVER LOOK IT FOR DVD AND ONLINE, YOU OWN A COMPUTER, A CONSOLE IS FOR GAMES NOT MOVIES.ALSO PEOPLE NEED TO KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN IT COMES TO LOAD TIMES YOU CANT BEAT A CUBE OR XBOX. FINALLY DONT GET A CONSOLE FOR WHAT IT HAS NOW GET IT FOR WHAT GAME STYLE YOU PLAY AND FIND A CONSOLE TO MATCH. Remeber gaming is supposed to be fun go with what u like and dont bash what you dont have!!!!! all the consoles rock but they all have different strengths keep that in mind before purchase! NEW GAMES COMING EXCLUSIVE TO CUBE .

Strengths: Simpy the best console: No loadtimes , great graphics , good sound (no DTT) but hee its a console not a proteble pc like the X _box (haha)
Weakness: None
Its simply the best new aged console around. Great graphics en good sound and the best constroller ever buld. Oke the game selection is now a little slim but hee thats gonna be all right. The graphics are better then the ps 2 and the x box. For these reasons: I have played GTA 3 on the ps and it looks like the console cant handle the game!! The framerate drops like a basterd en thats with all games on the ps 2. And its even more expensive then a Cube!!. De x-box is just like a pc with Windblows it lags it hangs and it crashes so no buy. Game Cube is cristal clear graphics turbo framerate and cute little discies SO ITS THE BEST BUY FOR A CONSOLE BUY IT NOW :-D

Strengths: Fun games, powerful hardware, excellent controller, very good future
Weakness: nothing seriously wrong
The Nintendo GameCube is the best of the three next-gen gaming systems. It is only $199.95. The load times on this machine are minimal, and the games come from the best game development team in the world - Nintendo! Unlike PlayStation 2, the GameCube has four controller sockets built in, for awesome multiplayer gaming. Also, if you buy this system, make sure that you get these games: Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pikmin, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, and Super Monkey Ball. And, don't forget to pick up these games when they are released in the future: Resident Evil, Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness, Star Fox Adventures, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime, Mario Party, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Racing, Kameo, and many, many more great games to come out on the Nintendo GameCube. So, although now it may seem like it is lacking in a vast quantity and variety of games, it has a bright future ahead of it! Also now, Squaresoft is developing games for it. And, Sega just announced Virtua Fighter Quest for GameCube. It is quickly becoming the must-have system for 2002. Get it and enjoy!

Strengths: Amazing graphics compared to PS2. (I own a ps2) Good library of games. (They dont emphasize meaningless violence and giant robots which means attention to gameplay and fun)
Weakness: Not much. Lack of CD and DVD playback maybe, but I own a CD player and its f-ing portable. I also have a DVD player.
I like the GCN because of it's simplicity and attention to what gamers want. I'm going to buy it as soon as I return to the States and I know it'll annoy the 12 year olds who wrote negative articles about the GCN. All they do is insult the console and call it childish, even though they themselves aren't even old enough to drive.
All in all, the games look awesome and so do the graphics. Ratings for GCN games are outstanding compared to most of the dribble that comes out for Xbox and PS2 (GTA3 forgive me for insulting your younger, stupider siblings) And the new games to come look very promising.

Strengths: It's a GameCube, it's all it's meant to do, and it's all it does with accuracy. Load time is virtually nill, it's quite small, same with discs and easily can tote a ton around....if there were a ton.
Weakness: Short List of games, only some of the games have the graphics ability cranked up...the rest are just mediocre.
First Off, all you guys just blowing BS out your own @$$ just to watch it, shut up. Yes there are problems with the cube as there is with all the other systems.
Cube vs. PC's
Second, PC owner, shut up....let's see, pay $300 atleast per year to keep up with gaming graphic increases just so you can play something that's going to lag anyway till the next 3 installments of your favorite 3D card is out, is a HUGE WASTE. Point noted. Besides you show me how many 4 year-olds want to be strapped to a computer that they can't play with their friends in the same room, wait, even add college students. Not many.
Gube vs. PS2
PS2 has a massive game library, which I'm still currently enjoying...but alot, if not 70%, are crap. You have to go through rental after rental to find a gem of a game. Cube, you know which one is, cuz they've touted it since before the cube was even release *good, but it's also stupid wishing they'd pull something you didn't expect out* PS2 is a major Pain in the @$$ system, cube is simple. But I really do enjoy my PS2...it's DVD playback terrible, but it works. So if you don't have a DVD player and you want a PS2 to have both, Please, just get a DVD player too. It dosen't work with them all, nor very well. Manytimes it'll pause as it's internal hardware get's mixed up, and occasionally overheated. It does work for the most part, but it's not good so STOP Raving about it being a reason not to buy the Cube. I only have a PS2 to play DVD's as well as my PC...and

Strengths: size, short load times, games, controller
Weakness: sloppy ports, small disk capacity, no online plan
I'm sick and tired of all the little kids writing reviews that bash this system with no argument as to why they think it is so bad. They can't seem to spell or use correct grammar, base their arguments on nothing, and think they sound cool by recommending an xbox instead.
The Gamecube has some great graphics with support for progressive scan 480p output. There is surround sound support with prologic 2, but unfortunately no Dolby digital or dts. It has much more 3rd party support than the n64 ever did and all of the great 1st party games like Mario, Zelda, and Metroid are here as well. Plus Resident Evil is now exclusive to it which automatically makes it a must have.
A lot of the ports are very sloppily done and have some major framerate issues, but the most important ones are done well still. Nintendo's online plan is still unknown at this point, so if you want to play online, this may not be the system for you. Finally, the disk capacity is considerably smaller so many games suffer from compressed sound and fmv.
The strengths far outweigh the weaknesses though, so I fully recommend this system, along with a playstation 2 and xbox if you can afford it. If not, this system is still a great choice.

Strengths: Great Price, best lineup of games, great controller, progressive scan, and four controller ports.
Weakness: Very few online games.
I'm not sure I've ever been happier with a system since the SNES.
Face it, a game system is all about one thing: games. And Nintendo Gamecube has or will have all of the best ones.
Metroid, Zelda, REsident Evil is ONLY on Gamecube, Timesplitters 2, Madden, all the Star Wars games, MArio games (c'mon, who doesn't love MArio Kart and MArio tennis/golf which are due out later this year), Dead to Rights, it's even getting the best Xbox game: Splinter Cell in March.
If you're into games, then there is no way to miss the Gamecube. It has the best lineup of games. THere is almost no big game out that Gamecube doesn't have, or isn't getting soon.
And as we all know, it's all about the games.

Even though i own a Nintendo Wii now doesn't mean i'll give up my GameCube. That was my very first game system, and the day i was introduced to the game console, i fell in love with it. In fact i still play with it. I also love playing GC with my nephew and cousins. Compared to other gaming consoles, GC isn't complix. It's kid-friendly so just about anyone at almost any age could play with it. The games for it are graet too. Even if it doesn't look like playstation or Xbox don't let apparences fool you. Buy a GameCube, buy a really good game for it, play it and you will know what i mean. $80-90$ is worth it.
Strengths: portable, good graphics, & value that you can't beat
Weakness: lack of games for the older gamers
lot of people say that PS2 & XBOX is better than GAMECUBE but it's all up to what type of games and how old you are.
before i get started, i own all three consoles... and this is how i feel about it...
PS2 led the way to these new generation game consoles by over a year on the other two consoles... so people complain about the number of games out for XBOX & GAMECUBE, give it some time. and Nintendo is not aiming the gamers in highschool, college & up as their buyers. which is a very smart move on the Nintendo's part because PS2 & XBOX is going head to head in that category. the younger generation that loves gameboy advance & pokemon... that's who Nintendo's going for. that's an open market, and that's where they are making the money.
GAMECUBE Games has bouns stuff that you can access by using the GAMEBOY ADVANCE... hmm what's the average age of the kids that owns GAMEBOY ADVANCE? majority is highschool and below... and the games that they release is not all that bad... StarWars fans got Rebel Strike to play... like sports? play EA games... and you can buy GAMECUBE and the Game for the price of the XBOX...
see, it's all up to how you look at it... you like violent games? go for XBOX... like racing? try GranTurismo on PS2... and if you can be open minded, try out some GAMECUBE games like mario kart, rebel strike, or EA's tiger wood's golf 2004?

A great system for kids. It has great classics like Starfox, Mario, Metroid, and more. Not made for older teen and adult games is what sets this system back. And there aren't many RPG's either. Overall an great system for kids and not so great for older teens and adults.

Weakness: game size. i like it but it is to easy to lose.
over all it is the best system out. X-box is over all THE WORST. IF YOU BUY A X-BOX I RECOMEND THAT YOU GO THROW IT OFF A TOWER huff...huff... ok. Game cube has a great controller and has very good games. Yes ther are kidy games but thats not what you should be rating the game cube on. You have to look at the games that are not kidy (Kickstand571, from CA) cough.. dork cough.. Take PSO or maybe baulders gate for example i loved thos games and recomend them strongly. ( PSO is better for multiplayer, you might need modem). So overall nintindo has proved itself once more. (i didnt like N64 tho) BUT GAMECUBE ROKCS

This is ann icredible machine an is the only console that has one big advantage above a Pc: it has nintendo games. If you have a good pc and want a console with it don't by a x-box because that just is a Pc.It has the same games,it has the same fuctions etc. If you are not a nintendo fan I would advice you to buy a Ps2.But the cube is a really nice console, think about it.

Nintendo's response to PS2. They finally made a console that runs on CDs, and they're half the size of PS2's. I haven't owned the Cube 'cause i don't have any $$ right now, but i have played LOTS in stores and at friend's house. Sure, some games may be for younger kids, but what about Metroid? (if you are reading this before Metroid comes out, yes they are making Metroid) And there is no better game than Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Strengths: Easy to carry, game discs are cool size. Some games bring back memories of the "good ol' gaming days".
Weakness: The system doesn't have an attractive look, the boot screen is anything by cool, most games are too childish.
Bottom line : If you are deciding over GameCube, PS2, or X-Box, forget Gamecube. I believe that the N-64 is still the best of the Nintendo Franchise. I haven't owned a GameCube but I rented it long enough to know that this system is a waste of cash. You'd be better off with a Gameboy. But, don't think I'm against Nintendo. It is one of the most successful franchises out there. But, unless you are under 10, don't buy this system.

Very nice little machine, i wasn't too impressed by it and sold it after a little more than a month after i got it. I just get everything the cube has and more with my PS2. But Metroid Prime and Resident Evil Zero are VERY pretty games and i could play them forver. Other than those though, not many good games. But later on this year Sony's contract with RockStarGames will expire, and unless they renew it, the GTA series will hit the Cube and XBox

Strengths: Graphics, Controller, Price, Good Games
Weakness: Not as many games as PS2
I though that this system was awesome, and I choose it over a Playstation 2. The XBOX doesn't come close. Some may have issues with it not having many games, but how many people buy more than 20 or 30 games for the whole time they have the system? That can get to be expensive. The controller's great too, basically a combo of the N64 and Playstation Dual Shock controller. Overall, I think this system is a great value, and well worth it. Can't wait for Zelda.

Weakness: Doesn't play DVD's (which isn't much of a weakness), placement of the D-pad.
Nintendo, the name that has come to mean QUALITY in the video game industry. When you buy a nintendo product you know you're getting your money's worth and the gamecube is no exception.
Graphics/sound: The graphics are topnotch, not as good as the xbox, but hot nonetheless. Sound is also topnotch.
Compact look: The gamecube doesn't take much space on your dresser, or by/on your tv. It can fit just right between your xbox and N64.
Now the non-playback of DVD's and CD's, well thiss isn't exactly a con because the gamecube is designed to do ONE THING and that's PLAY VIDEO GAMES.
The D-pad is placed horribly.
Bottom line: Cop the cube, it's worth it

The Gamecube once again disappoints - although I find it better than my PS2. Why? Because almost ALL PS2 games are coming to the Xbox and will be better.
Anyway, the GNC is for Nintendo freaks, ONLY.

Strengths: Quick load times, GREAT graphics, franchise games
Weakness: mini dvds are easily scratched and rendered unplayable. No GTA yet.
As for all these reviews that i am reading regarding the gamecube not being able to step in the ring with other systems, think of it like this, its the little brother that is growing up. The titles that are being released show that it isnt just a kiddie console anymore. I think Dead to rights shows us the best, with graphics that rival XBox, but with better load times, and more game options. (hardness etc.)We can see that the gamecube has all the intentions of entering the realm of Mature games. Now lets compare the systems. PS2 vs. GCN; PS2 is dwarfed in technology and graphics due to the fact that it was made backward compatible, reducing what the tech geeks could do, system resources are used up on useless...yes useless options like DVD players (oh...and you thought the GCN didnt add a dvd player cuz they forgot?) DVD players take up resources, resources that wont be there for gaming. PS2 beat the other systems to the market, but it has peaked, and what you see is what your gonna get until the next system launch for Sony. GCN vs XBox...ughh I worked at a call center for MSN for 2 years, so forgive me XBox fans, but the thought of lining billy gates pockets makes me repulse (as i am typing this while browsing through IE and booting up with win98...but at least i bootlegged and didnt pay ;) the XBOX has a celeron 768 processor (or something to that affect) but what i didnt understand is that celeron cpus are horrid for gaming, they were designed as cheap office cpus.

Strengths: Awesome controller, exclusive games, progressive scan, Dolby Pro Logic II, small size, GBA connectivity.
Weakness: No DVD player, D-Pad is a little uncomforable.
I must say I absolutely love my GameCube. When it comes to graphics, the GameCube is usually on par with X-Box games and sometimes even look slightly better than the best X-Box games (as is the case with Rouge Squadron II or Metroid Prime). If you have a Dolby Pro Logic II capable receiver, supported games (such as Eternal Darkness) will sound absolutely incredible. GBA connectivity, when it's well done like in Splinter Cell, can really add an extra dimension to your games. I personally think the controller is the most comfortable out of the all three next-gen systems, but I guess this boils down to personal preference really. I also think Nintendo has the best exclusive games (StarFox Armada, F-Zero GC, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil, Metroid Prime, etc.). Once again though, I guess it really depends on personal preference and what games you like to play. The only real downside to the GameCube is not having a DVD player, but if you already have one (like my self) it's no biggie. Overall, I would highly recommend the GameCube to anyone who is considering purchasing it.

Strengths: - Fastest console available
- Offers best graphics
- Many "Gaming Giants" coming out soon (Zelda, Metroid, Mario, StarFox, etc)
- Elegant controller design
- Very light, portable with handle
Weakness: - Very addictive
The GameCube's streamlined architecture is designed to perform all graphical operations in hardware. In comparison, many of the onboard features of the GameCube hardware must be performed in software on the PlayStation 2, taking valuable processing power away from the CPU and GPU. Nintendo has made its next-generation machine powerful, easy to understand, and easy to develop software for. This should allow game developers to concentrate their energies on developing great content instead of wrestling with the hardware and trying to implement new technical features that are not already supported. This ideal was manifest at E3 2001, where Sega announced that it completed a playable version of Phantasy Star Online Version 2 for the GameCube in less than a month.
Nintendo's "gaming giants", Zelda, Mario, Star Fox, Metroid, and Donkey Kong will be appearing on the Nintento GameCube later this year and early next year. Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Killer Instinct 3, Perfect Dark 2, Resident Evil 0, etc. The Cube will have the best extreme sports games including Aggressive Inline, Tony Hawk 4. It already has the best waverunner simulator available (Wave Race: Blue Storm). Rareware (makers of Donkey Kong Country, Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct, and James Bond 007 for N64) are Nintendo-exclusive developers. Their games will only be available for this system. You WILL be buying a Nintendo GameCube when these games are available. There's no point in owning 2 systems. Get a Cube.

I don't understand how people can say that the xbox is a pc on it's side. Sure, it has a hard drive, but that saves money (you don't have to buy memory cards, which will drain your cash.) Gamecube might have zelda and mario, but metroid prime, well, the controller sucks for ffp's. Xbox has Halo, best version of splinter cell, The Amped series, Dead or Alive, Projetc Gotham, Nba street vol. 2, Crimson Skies, Counter strike, KOTOR, Max payne, GTA, and mammoth titles coming out like Halo 2, Fable, Ninja Gaiden, Starcraft ghost, sudeki, breakdown, Doom 3, Half Life 2, dead or alive online, advent rising, Phantom dust, steel battalion 2,and magatama, plus the best online play on all three consoles. Ok back to gamecube. It depends on what age you are. If you are 21 and want all those shooters and blood and guts, go buy an xbox. If you are 5 and want to watch a monkey rolling in a ball across the screen, then buy this. That put's it best.

Weakness: graphics, games, controlers the fact is GAME CUBE SUCKS!.
So right when game cube came out i thought it would be great. But when i started playing it i noticed that game cube is for little 5 year olds. The games really suck there is no good ones, and right when i got it the handel broke off. But it the end i noticed that game cube wasent ment to be a good game system, it was ment to be a F&@#ing foot rest. so i returned it and got a Playstation 2 instead. It is the best. I recomend a Playstation 2 to everyone cause it is 100x better than game cube and xbox.

Weakness: Another variation on the theme of lets bring out a new console so we can sell a new batch of the same old software.
No quantum leaps here. It's still a games console with slightly improved graphics. Yet another reason the manufactureres want us to shell out our hard earned cash for software. I would ditch buying all these consoles and spend my money on a worthwile PC. Who wants yet another tired old games machine.

I think you shouldnt waist your money on this Ugly game console, A cube, a simple cube that cant play DVDs or have good graphics, and bad sound, its games are horible, just a bunch of repeat games from earlier Nintendo Systems, just for little kids, small controller, and the controller doesnt even fit my little bros hands, its way too small.

GameCube Eh? whats so great that its small well maybe for the weak bastards an little kids that cant lift more then 1 pound or they risk straining them selves. i mean cmon we dont need it smaller infact bigger when it comes to controlers is better for me its ok for you kids an dorks that play this thing 24/7 to admit you got small hands but sorry i dont i like know i have something in my hands. The system is alright its well built not better then xbox in power or graphics thats for sure HALO destroys every game that gamecube has im not a hater of nintendo or anything but they just prove they cant come up with new ideas i mean cmon i played mario when i was 10 grow the up already which there trying to do thats why they made resident evil there trying to compete with xbox for the more grown up games now an yes gamecube does have limited titles but if you look at the limited selection only thing that would make me want to play this system is resident evil i mean ya dont think im really gonna play another starwars game again hello try new content for once like xbox here let me names so games for xbox i mean i ask people all the time what games are the for gamecube they tell me like three the dumb starwars, smash bros, an resident evil WOW big three games let me name some from xbox dead or alive 3, halo, hunter the reckoning, dead to rights, starwars starfighter, brute force, project ego, and BC an halo 2 is in the making. Weakness: Selection of games is a little scarce at launch, but Fall 2002 promises a load of great games. So not much of a weakness really.
This is simply a classic gaming console. Nope, no DVD. Dude, I already own a DVD player for my home entertainment system. Why would I want another?...'nuff said about that. Excellent graphics. I played the Xbox, PS2 and GameCube before I made my purchase. The Xbox and GameCube both had excellent graphics and gameplay. I liked the controller design on the GameCube better and I also did research on the types of games to be developed for both systems. I like Nintendo's approach: set the platform up for exciting, addictitve games that reach a broader spectrum of gamers. I believe that a classic gaming console should be inclusive of all gamers and I feel the GameCube hit it right on the money. Nintendo is not just marketing towards a mature audience here. Maybe I'm just old and played the s-h-i-t out of Quake too much. Who knows. If you want kick a-s-s first person gaming, check out an AlienWare box or build yourself a serious PC and play that stuff. That will beat the snot out of an Xbox when it comes to gameplay anyday. Trust me. If you want a classic gaming console with great sports games, fighting games, racing games and action/strategy games that appeal to all ages check out the Cube. Also, the specs on the Xbox show the throughput on the polygon count as pretty high. Uh, that's RAW polygon count guys. The Cube's specs advertise a "real life" full-textured, full tilt polygon count, which Xbox developers have yet to match. Yes, it's true.
Innovative and Original
Strengths: +Good Graphics in comparison to PS2 +Innovative Titles (Resident Evil 4, Animal Crossing, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat) +Decent Controller Layout +GBA Player and Linkability
Weakness: -Smaller Library than PS2 -No Online -No DVD Player (Not Really a Let Down)
Although it may not have the online play or DVD compatibility, the Nintendo Gamecube is still the overall the best system on the market. It doesn't rely on violence or immorality as selling points (unlike Microsoft and Sony with the Halo and GTA franchises), but rather relies on good, old fashioned innovation.
