Strengths: Strong story, big game world, abundant sidequests, good fighting system, and pretty nice graphics.
Weakness: Glitches, level cap, and NPCs have low repair skill.
I have to say, Fallout 3 is one of the best games I've played in awhile. A marvelous game with an excellent story. "We are born in the Vault, we die in the Vault" is what they say about Vault 101, but isn't totally true. At age 19, you wake up to hear that father leaves the safety of Vault 101 - the jewel of the Wastes. You leave Vault 101 and explore the Capitol Wasteland to search for your father - and that's just the start of things.
I give Fallout 3 a Five, out of Five.

Strengths: Cool landscape, Huge amount of quests, and good story.
Weakness: Lot's of walking to your destination and graphics are decent.
I really like Oblivion and it's from the same makers. I got a little bored of Oblivion after I had finished it so I got this to hope that it would appeal to me again. It did but I'm not jumping for joy over this game. It is a very good game but it has a very slow pacing to it and it takes many hours to finish the game. The missions are laid out pretty good but sometimes I found it hard to determine where the compass is leading you sometimes.
Fighting in the game is done in 2 ways. One is to do the normal FPS way or the other way is to stop time and target a certain body part on the enemy and then it goes into a cut scene. The graphics are pretty good considering it is such a huge game. I would recommend this game to be played after the holidays when you get bored with some of the better games that came out.

This game from the makers of Oblivion is extremely well done. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all impressive. I prefer the medievil setting of Oblivion, but all aspects of this RPG are improved compared to that game. This is definitely not a kids game with extreme violence, profanity, and moral situations. You can choose to handle situations any number of ways and if you choose to fight, the weapons are incredible. The attack selection mechanism works well and shows off some very scenes that could compete with Hollywood action sequences. If you liked Oblivion and are okay with the dark mood, this game will provide hours of entertainment.

Released in late October 2008 Fallout 3 is the most recent release in the Fallout series by Bethesda Games. Taking place 30 years after the events of Fallout 2, Fallout 3 continues in the same dystopian vein, which involves a living in a world cut short by a deviating all-out nuclear war. Primarily an action RPG, Fallout 3 mixes a visually fantastical world with surprisingly realistic game play -...
