SanDisk 2GB Gaming Memory Stick PRO Duo

Strengths: Storage, speed

Weakness: none

This memory stick pro duo makes a great companion for the Sony PSP. Its large size means you can store several full-length movies on it--perfect for long trips. You can also use all that space to store a ton of music, still leaving room for game saves, etc.--perfect for day-to-day use with the PSP playing role of a super Video iPod.

SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo 2GB

Strengths: Fast. Works for more than just gaming devices.

Weakness: no adapter. sony technology is a little costlier compared to other flash memory. but i guess that's true for all their stuff.

I actually bought this for use with a Sony cell phone. It turns out this gaming one was actually cheaper than the slower non-gaming one so I bought this one even though it is marketed for gaming. It still does the job and benchmarks say it is faster than even the Sony branded ones. It's certainly fast enough for me and holds plenty of mp3s for my phone.

My only disappointment is that it seems Sony's upcoming phones will be made to use their new Memory Stick Micro M2 which means when I upgrade phones I can't use this. As if it wasn't enough dealing with all the different flash memory formats across technologies but even within Sony you can't count on a single format.

duo works as advertised

Strengths: 2 gigs, 1.9 formatted is HUGE. it's like having a 2gb nano ipod right by itself. transfer is fast w/ usb 2.0.

Weakness: none. only small thing is won't work with certain older vaios.

i love my 2 gb duo. its fast, super small and big enough to store almost anything i want. at first i wanted the 4 gb duo, but considering that this was about 60 bucks, this was a steal.

the only thing that kind of bug is that i have an older vaio laptop and for whatever reason certain vaios (and older sony machines) don't work with these newer, bigger MS duos (i have the converter btw).

Sandisk 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo SDMSG-2048-A10

Strengths: Relatively low cost, 2GB space, read and write speed particularly for large amt of data faster than Sony's

Weakness: none

It's worth getting one if you can get it for slightly more than double the price of a 1Gb. You can always make use of the space for pictures, videos and games.
Also, the reads and writes with this seem to be much faster than Sony's.

New low price, great buy!

Strengths: Fast speed, large capacity

Weakness: No adapter included

Purchased this card for my psp, now I can bring more mp3 and pictures and with me. The color of this card is fascinating. I tried this on my sony digital camera and it worked like a charm as well. I love sandisk. They are the best!

Memory Stick Duo

Strengths: 2gb huge size, Works with my PSP and works with my T7.

Weakness: The Adaptor is a bit bulky

Works fast with my PSP, load time were good. It does exactly what I needed it to do. It was just plop it in and it works no special steps to take. Quick and easy.

Sandisk Memory stick pro

Strengths: No compatibility issues. Works great with PSP. Great speed.

Weakness: No Memory stick adapter included

I have used this with my PSP and it works great. I have been using it for 15 days now and have not noticed any problems. I think a memory stick adapter would really help so that the memory stick duo can be used in digital cameras too.

Sandisk 2gb ProDuo Gaming

Strengths: Reliable, Color

Weakness: No adapter, Slower than the Ultra II series

I upgraded to this stick from a 1gb Gaming Pro Duo. The 2 sticks are identical except for the storage size. This is a very capable memory stick. It is reliable and transfers at decent speeds. After using this for about a month, I upgraded again to an Ultra II. The main difference is that the Ultra II is a lot faster. At the time of purchase, the Ultra II cost about the same as this. I would suggest getting the Ultra II if the price difference is small. You also get an adapter with the Ultra II

Sandisk Gaming Pro Duo

Strengths: Storage capacity, build quality, use speeds

Weakness: So small but cute as a button

I have a Sony S600 camera and needed cards. With care it should damge too easily and I already dropped it onto a hard floor. This compares just as favorably with the UltraII being I think a bit slower in fast bursts use. Transfers at the PC end seem to be very close to the Ultra II as already noted. The 2GB storage capacity I have yet to max out on either card since I'm still learning but it's plenty for my needs.

The Cool Blue Stick

Strengths: Faster than my previous 1GB Sony High Speed stick.

Weakness: Doesn't come with Memory Stick Adapter but thats negligible

I purchased my first memory stick off eBay for $100 which was a 1GB Sony High Speed stick. It was slower than this and than a few months later this one comes along and I get rid of my old one and purchase this one and lo and behold, I had about 25-30% increase in transfer speeds and compared to my Sony stick it also fit in my PSP smoothly whereas my Sony stick sort of "got stuck" in there and warranted the use of my nails to pull it out if I ever needed to. Recommended for power users who transfer a lot of files and want something that looks cool. Peace.

Memory stick pro duo

Strengths: Great price, durable manufacturer

Weakness: Did not include adapter

Got a great deal from JR. Compatible with all Se devices. MS adapter not included, so that was a real bumber. Fast transfers and lots of space for mp3's. Been a sandisk user for a long time and will continue to be. quality is great

Sandisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Awesome!!!

Strengths: Access Speed Reliability

Weakness: None

I find that the access speed is fast when accessing my video files. SanDisk has always been reliable. I have had other Sandisk products including a smaller size memory stick duo, and so far so good! I would recommend the 2GB or at least the 1GB since you will find you need more and more space on the stick. This is perfect for the PSP!

Gaming 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo

Strengths: 2GB Capacity, Fast

Weakness: Not 4BG. Otherwise None :-)

I've been using this puppy for my PSP for several months and can't complain at all. I didn't have any issues with it at all as expected. The 2GB capcity works great for me so I can store more without transfering back and forth from my PC. I can't wait for the 4GB to come out but until then I would definitely recommend this memory stick over other competitors. Also, I like how Sandisk has done there differnt colors for the various memory sizes. Nice.

Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo 2GB Gaming

AWESOME DEAL SWEET CARD!

Strengths: Comes with a case (unlike the non gaming version) and it looks cool :)

Weakness: none that I can see

I love this stick! I got it for use with my PSP and I got it cheap from J&R with a special rebate. Overall I think Sandisk makes the best media for the buck. Overall I would recommend this or the regular memory stick cause they are both the same and awesome!

One thing I wanted to note is that it does not come with a duo adapter like the non-gaming version does.

Good value for the price

Strengths: Speedy transfer times

Weakness: None

There's not much to say about the SanDisk 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo, aside from the fact that it works just like it's supposed to. The transfer speeds between my PC and the Stick are pretty speedy - and aside from that, there's nothing much else to say. When a Memory Stick works as advertised, there's not much you can comment on, unfortunately. The price was great for the storage space it gives you and it works like a charm. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a decent amount of storage for a fair price.

Sandisk 2GB Gaming Memory Stick Pro Duo

Strengths: Fast transfer speed. Ample storage size.

Weakness: No adapter. Sony's proprietary flash memory format.

With prices dropping on all flash memory products, this 2GB memory stick pro is a great buy. I have previously used Sandisk's 1GB gaming MS Duo and their products are as always reliable and error-free. I would highly recommend this product.

2GB memory stick pro duo

Strengths: Small, fast, compatible, looks cool

Weakness: no adapter, but you probably already have one.

This card is the perfect companion for your PSP or digital camera. It does not come with an adapter, but if you don't already have one (or 2) you can get them really cheap. Plus for now LESS than the price of 2 1gb cards it is definitely worth it!

A must have for PSP or Sony digital camera

Strengths: Faster than Sony's own Memory Stick product

Weakness: Memory Sticks still cost nearly 2x what other memory card formats cost for the same amount, but what are you going to do? Not use your PSP. Hardly.

With the typical digital camera now in the 6-8 MP range and having the ability to shoot TV quality video a 2GB card is really the minimum one should buy now. Or if you have a new PSP and want to put videos or other media on it, again 2GB is the minimum. 4GB cards are too pricey now, but watch and see a year from now as cards smaller than 2GB go the way of the do-do bird.

I'm not a big fan of Sandisk cards in other memory card formats (SD, CF, etc) but tests have shown that Sandisk Memory Sticks are actually faster than Sony's own brand. Maybe it's because Sandisk helped Sony create the memory stick. If you are in the market, don't stick your nose up at Sandisk Memory Sticks over Sony. You won't be doing yourself or your wallet any favors.

Best for the price

Strengths: Relative low-cost. 2GB Capacity

Weakness: No adapter. Slow.

Finally 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo went below $100. I purchased 1GB one several month ago for the same price. No other product can beat the price. Though it's not ultra fast, it can hold any movie files or images. I gave four stars just because it does not come with an adapter, but you can still connect PSP directly.

Gaming 2GB Memory Stick

Strengths: Capacity & Style

Weakness: None

I have a 512MB, 1GB, and now the 2GB card and I love them all. I have never had a problem accessing files on my PSP. They are efficient and look cool to boot. Thanks SanDisk.

Gaming 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo.

Strengths: Great Product

Weakness: na

It is worth the money to get this 2 GB card for your PSP. I also find that you can speed up your PSP internet browser loading with it. I have been able to download 6 movies on it on a recent plane trip. It's cool and light to carry around.
