the kirbinator -20

Strengths: the game features a cute pink thing how can you go wrong.

Weakness: the replay value is fairly low, plus who wants to explore 2 hours worth of land on the go.

this is a game of many accomplishments such as the four person system. being able to call your buddys at a boss fight and have them handle him is great. this game is far from perfect such as the A.I. of your freinds frankly sucks you just can't make them smart can you like when you have to move a 4 person boulder they will float there and do nothing. frankly even though the A.I. sucks worse than dog crap. and the game is wayyyyyyy to long. i would reccomend this game to anyone............going on a 1 year vacation.

Pretty good Kirby

Strengths: Fun, map-based, new 4-player angle

Weakness: Too short (like all Kirbys), a lot of the same

This game is great for any Kirby fan, which includes me. It's just as fun as any other side-scrolling Kirby game with all the standard Kirby abilities and actions with a few new abilities thrown in. The 4-player aspect with the other color Kirbys is interesting and unique in the Kirby franchise, but in the end it doesn't really add that much to the game. The new map with some non-linear secret paths makes the game last a little longer, but it ends up being pretty much as short as any other Kirby game and as a fan I never want it to end. Overall I think it's a great game and it can curb that Kirby craving, but it doesn't add too much to the series.

Kirby's Back In His First Original GameBoy Advance...

Strengths: Multiplayer

Weakness: Requirements For Multiplayer

Kirby And The Amazing Mirror is the first original Kirby game on the GameBoy Advance as Nightmare In Dreamland was just a remake of the NES version of Kirby's Adventure.

Kirby And The Amazing Mirror is a side scroller like most of the other Kirby games on previous Nintendo systems and just like all of the other games the action and Kirby's ability to inhale enemies has been retained. What's different about the Amazing Mirror is that to progress though the game you will have to go though mirrors thoughout the game that will transport you elsewhere and at times you will have to find certain mirrors that ain't out in the open in order to proceed ahead. You can also play multiplayer with up to four players total which is a lot of fun as you can be trying to move though the game with another gamer helping out elsewhere in the game. The catch is that everyone that wants to play will have to have a GameBoy Advance and a copy of the game in order to play along with a multiplayer cable to connect all of the systems together. When you play single player the computer AI will control the other Kirby's but the AI isn't that great so it's a lot more fun to play with other people.

I would highly recommend Kirby And The Amazing Mirror to fans or side scrollers as it's a solid 2D game.

KirbyMetroidVania

Strengths: Fun to pick-up and play

Weakness: Map can be somewhat confusing

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror throws a two monkey wrenches into the Kirby formula. The first, of course, is the fact that there are multiple Kirbys, and thus the player can summon more Kirbys at will or play with a friend. The second is much more interesting; all of the worlds are interconnected in the well-known Metroidvania format. As such, the exploration element in this Kirby game is well-defined and interesting. Beyond that, the typically fun Kirby gameplay is present. Definitely recommended for fans of 2D platformers.
