Strengths: Over 120 characters that you can play as. Using the Wii remote and nunchuck is also a new fun experience. You do the motions. Controls are decent for such a complex game.
Weakness: Gets kind of repetitive. The game goes from being real easy, to real hard. But just do the training mode, and you'll get the hang of all the controls.
This is by far the best DBZ game ever made. If you're a DBZ fan, GET THIS GAME.
Even if you aren't a DBZ fan, I think you will enjoy this. "Only DBZ fans will enjoy this game" from Gamespot, is not true at all.

Weakness: -No story mode and kind of repetitive after a while.
Did you like Tenkaichi 1 on PS2? Well, if you did then don't hesitate to pick this up. The control scheme takes a short time to learn and once you pick it up, you'll be fighting while giggling at the same time. For example, to do a Spirit Bomb, you have to lift the controls in a way that resembles Goku doing it. It's fun to see friends do the motions for Kamehameha. Overall, this game is pretty good and if you're a DBZ fan, be sure to pick it up!

DBZ:Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is the one of best DragonBall Z games in the market and is probably the best fighting game for the Wii.
There are many complex moves and skills in this game. They can be difficult to learn using the Wii remote and nunchuck. You'll no longer sit in the sofa but perform your physical movies in order to unleash killer attacks on your enemies.
The lack of story mode is a major drawback in this game. After some battles, things become repetitive. Nevertheless, it is still a great DBZ game to play and certainly a must have for the DBZ fans.
Strengths: DBZ is one of the best fighters for the wii. Addictive battling for DBZ fans and any other. And, there are so many, many characters to choose from.
Weakness: The graphics could have been a lot better and the controls can be a bit difficult to pick up.
DBZ is a fun and addictive game that you can play for hours on end. The wiimote makes use of innovative controls to perform moves. Many were well thought out as to loosely resemble the movement of the character. A behind-the-back perspective makes you feel like you’re in the battle itself. The battles are intense and brutal, satisfying that urge players have to kick some buttay. Also, the story mode makes for a lengthy RPG.
Strengths: This game offers realistic looking graphics, even comparable to the series, and offers accurate characters and attacks. The gameplay keeps you interested and occupied.
Weakness: The complex and somewhat annoying moves needed to unleash attacks through the wii remote and nunchuck are very bothersome.
This installment of the Dragon Ball saga accurately portrays the characters and attacks, but the moves are cumbersome and annoying. Overall it's an enjoyable game once you are able to master it.
Strengths: a lot of characters to choose, unique attack for each character, very delightful to watch those in action
Weakness: not very easy to learn how to control. It takes quite a while for a newbie like me to familarize the play
Wii really provides a new way for the fighting game. You no longer sit on your sofa, just push buttons for control. You do need to move around like kickboxing! Dragon Ball Z is the perfect game to play the Wii. Those killer moves make the game interesting to play and the variety of characters are indeed the strength of this game. Despite the time you need to spend on learning before you become a fighting master, it is worth it!
dbz for the wii uses a lot of different hand motions. It;s pretty fun and uses both the nunchuk and the remote in unison. For those that think thats too hard, it also supports the classis controller and game cube controllers. one of the must have games for wii
this was a great fiting game that got me hooked ever since I bought it. I enjoyed when I first played it, learning to exicute the attcks and manuvers and getting familiarized with them in practice mode it was quite a chalenge indeed (though I slightly disapointed with the lack of creativity of the tial arts tournwiimote it hardly substracted from the fun of the game).I soon realized that this was but a meer fraction of all the intensness when I tested my newly gained skills at the martial arts tourney, ultimate battle Z and Dragoon Universe. This game is a trully briliant work of art.
I usually do not play this kind of fighting games, until I heard what one can do in the Wii Dragonball Z - to do the really fight! Great graphics and smooth transitions; many characters to choose. The only complaint (from a fighting beginner like me) is that it is really difficult to learn (and remember) all the fighting skills, including moving and fighting....etc. Highly recommend to give it a shot even if you never play Dragonball Z on other platforms.
Strengths: Great graphics. Great selection of moves.
Weakness: Not any so far
There is no story or anything else besides fighting. confusing with z items, but it's still good game with good graphics and great moves. hard to understand at first. You can get the practice from training mode. ane controls works great even though the game is that complicated.
