UbiSoft Pacific Fighters

Strengths: exelent grafics & plane modeling. I've been playing flight sims for close to 9 years, this is THE BEST I have came across. This along with Forgotten Battles & Ace Expansion Pack is great.

Weakness: None Makes MS CFS look like mush.

Hyper Lobby is the place to play this game. Along with Forgotten Battles & Ace Expansion Pack will keep you busy for hours, (just ask my wife)

Pacific Fighters

Strengths: easy to install, instructions for how to play the game was clear

Weakness: the graphics can be better

I brought this because I played IL2 before. From Pacific Fighters, I was even more impressed with the improvements it made. Pacific Fighters was not expensive; it was only $19.99. However, if you are looking for better qualities, I will have to go with Flight Simulator.

Pacific Fighters

Are flight simulations like the American Democratic party of 2004? They're clearly not the main choice among software publishers despite a popular run in the '90s. And, like the affiliations of the modern public with regard to political preference, the common thinking says that the gaming public is divided on simulations. The fanatics are the elitists, demanding to a fault, and expecting...

Pacific Fighters

I played my first flight simulation on the Commodore C-64. That was a thrill. Then, as some others came and went, I renewed that thrill with the (at the time) ground-breaking Red Baron. That was a bit on the "fluff" side, but fun for my tastes. After that, I experienced the more realistic Microsoft offerings and had some experiences with non-combat simulations as well. I have not had my hands on...

Pacific Fighters

My love of flight sims began in the Pacific Theater with Dynamix's Aces of the Pacific. Over the years, there've been many flight sims for fans of the European side of the War, but those of us who dig launching torpedoes at carriers or battling in Zekes and Wildcats have been woefully underserved by flight sim developers. Lucky me, the fine folks at UbiSoft have translated the power of IL-2...
