The Movies is fairly similar to the tycoon series, produced by various companies. In the game, the player takes on the role of studio owner and working trying to make the studio big and famous. It seems that player can either follow a series of events to expand the studio and to make the studio better or if desired, can make movies of choice. Then the movies can be uploaded to website and sharing with others, providing an account has been registered before hand.

Overall, The Movies is pretty fun. The player have some freedom on what movies to do and such, but have little controls to what the actors and/or actresses do. The ability to make own movies and share them is a fun idea and allow others to enjoy the creation.
