Eidos Deus EX

Strengths: good story, new RPG/FPS augmentations, more than one way to accomplish tasks, 3 endings, Game of the Year

Weakness: the first level isn't very fun

This game is about the best game ever created. It's a FPS, but allows you to gain augmentations to better yourself as if it was an RPG. One of the best parts of this game is that there is always another way to accomplish a mission. If you're supposed to protect someone (for example), you wouldn't automatically lose if they died. It would just make the scripting of the following events change. There are even 3 distinct endings for you to choose based on your actions!

This game is a great value at the price! Everyone should play this game. The first level may not be so great (boring), but at least there are 2 ways to complete it! So bear through the first level and it'll get much better.

Eidos Deus EX

Strengths: Engrossing gameplay, nice graphics, decent storyline.

Weakness: Pretty poor multiplayer mode.

Really fun, engrossing first person shooter . I played it every night for a month or so before finishing it. Nice combination of strategy and action. It's a bargain at what most retailers are selling it for.

A big jump for an FPS

Strengths: Great storyline, strong skill system, diffrent ways to play the game, augmentations, interactive npcs, just loads of fun to play.

Weakness: Can't think of any.

Hands down, this is the best FPS ever released to the world. It is one of the most engrossing games it makes you oblivious to everything around you. The game offers diffrent ways to play the game, whether you want to run and gun, steathly whip your opponents unconcious with a baton, or use the surroundings and AI to do the dirty work for you. The augmentations is one of the main aspects of the game, they modify the very structure of your character to help you adapt to your surroundings and defend yourself against deadly foes. The story line is one of the best and it keeps you playing until the sun comes back up after you watched it go down. This is definatly a must have game, you won't find any game like it.

Deus Ex

As soon as I heard this game was coming to the Mac I jumped for joy. Deus Ex was attempting to create a true first person shooter RPG, with complex branching story lines, character development and dozens of NPCs to talk with.
